Today, I just want to go home and cry.

For the first time in a long time, I am blissful. There aren’t a lot of things that make sense in my life right now. I’m dealing with medical issues that have me in pain almost daily. I’m adjusting to big life changes. I still am working towards my goal of PA school, which has stopped me from receiving further promotions at work because they don’t want to further train me when they know I’ll be leaving (although they say I’m perfect for the position).  But, life doesn’t have to make sense right now. I’m at the start of marathon training. I’m eating better than I ever have and treating my body the best. We see our friends more. Work appreciates me and gives me a feeling of worth (despite being bored out of my mind most days). I’m still taking classes and furthering my education. My business is booming, with sales triple to quadrupling what we had in the previous year. WE BOUGHT A FREAKING HOUSE. And now, I feel like this is the life I could continue to live, forever. At this point, I can only believe it is ups from here. I’m just so damn happy with my life and I cannot wait to see what more things come my way. 

He is it. To have hit all of my lowest lows this past year and still somehow still have my head above water, I have him to thank. When I'm drowning and pulling him under, he still manages to pull us to shore. I'm so damn lucky.

I count my lucky stars.
