Again please tell me if I doxxed myself somewhere in this picture but I couldn’t even capture all the pages in my free floorspace. But, besides a five page epilogue I still need to rewrite thats book six of Between Lost Worlds done. Sure, it was seven months over schedule but I am just one humble, day-job having freak doing this for no reason so I try to give myself slack with deadlines.

Good news is I’ll have more time for all the projects I promise people! While I also write the next book. I’m okay having wasted my twenties on this shit but I can’t drag my feet and let it get anywhere NEAR my fourties.

My (belated) comic for @unwholesomeocweek is finally done!! This is the most ambitious project I’ve done in years and I’m so relieved I was able to make it before the late submission deadline on the 7th aha/// I initially started “NEVER ENDING FUN” as a fill for Day 1: HATEFUCKING / VIOLENCE / DIVORCE, but things spiralled out of control and I ended up doing 17 out of the 21 prompts, give or take… So take this as a love letter to unwholesome OCing itself—I hope you enjoy!

Major CWs: Body horror, violence, gore, forced transformation Minor CWs: Implied rape / sexual assault, implied child abuse, forced medical procedures, substance abuse, corruption / mind control, manic delusions, generally unhealthy relationships

And that’s a wrap! In the end, I worried “NEVER ENDING FUN” wasn’t Unwholesome™ enough for the event… So over the next couple days I’ll be uploading some bonus art as well—full views of images that get cropped in panels, as well as various unwholesome illustrations of Dimitri and the Ouroboros (and the Other Ouroboros… I have toxic yaoi* and selfcest in the oven) :D

(I will note also, since this comic is a bit abstract: The Ouroboros was never human—they were always “something else”—but they were once mortal [i.e. could permanently be killed]. That said, with time shenanigans in place, who knows if that really “counted”…)

I finally finished the comic I’ve been working on all month, so I wanted to do some personal art to celebrate before looking over it one more time with revisions.

@uncomfortable-bodies was kind enough to draw the Ouroboros / Xero a couple times, so I wanted to draw one of their OCs in return—here’s Imogen from their comic Ou Topos, which you can read for free here!!! I’m on issue 04 and really love it so far; it’s almost like an eroguro fairytale to me, effortlessly balancing whimsy, plot, and erotic-grotesque-nonsensical visuals. I’m so curious to learn more about the world and characters as I read!! Thank you again to Nik Ruby for drawing my little guy, and for posting your works for people to read!

Fathers day story. My dad is pretty cool- plays a couple instruments and was in bands when I was young and so was friends with a bunch of other local bands/ musicians. But because of that I grew up with a lot of songs I THOUGHT were super famous because they were ubiquitous in my childhood but NO its by his weird friend Cowboy Jim and every time I find out about another one I have to shift my cultural perception ever so slightly. Obviously not a big deal but imagine how discombobulating it would be if you found out idk… Hotel California was only popular with your immediate family and it was written by the guy who got kicked out of thanksgiving for drunkenly crashing a golf cart into a wall.

Currently Reading: The Wanting Seed by Anthony Burgess. Author of A Clockwork Orange so idk what I expected but not a big fan. Description said it was about a future where homosexuality is encourage to keep population down and this somehow leads to cannibalism. Its not shocking or offensive enough to be a spectacle and the prose is middling enough its not helping. Just finished The Cattle Killing by John Edgar Wideman which was much better.

Currently Working on: Oh god. My long form comic Between Lost Worlds, a short zine for an indie publishing guy I know on Insta, and a potential collab thing I gotta lock in on. Also editing the latest issue of Ou Topos and scripting for another open ended anthology thing I agreed to, as well as the next book of the main thing.
