There was something awkward about this bed. It was eerily cold. Or something in the bed was cold. With a small grunt, Una shuffled around to look at the thing invading her sleep space. When she saw that it was no mere object, but a person, her eyes snapped open and shut several times. She tried to blink away the sleep, the dreams, but to no avail. This was none other than Hiro Take’shi, and he had his arm around her.
She shook her head. It couldn’t be happening. None of this was right. In sleep, he looked so sweet, so peaceful. More importantly, he was very much shirtless. Did he always sleep like this? Feeling an awkward amount of skin to skin contact, Una became acutely aware of her own nudity. Still, just to check, she managed to squirm away a fraction to look down at herself. Yes, she was just as bare as he was.
How had they ended up like this? She was a lightweight, but he didn’t drink---did he? He never would have taken advantage of her drunken state and made moves on her. She knew he was too good a man for that. Could she have seduced him? Why couldn’t she remember it? Guilt gnawed at her stomach. She sat up and lightly shook him by the shoulder. “Please wake up. Right now. Please. I’m sorry. I’m really, really sorry...”
