Hiding in the Greenhouse (f)

I’ve been keeping this ask in my inbox for a long time, ahaha. I recorded another swh scenario intended to answer this, but I didn’t feel that the buildups very all that vocalized and that its strength could be highlighted elsewhere.

Anyway, thank you @sfblah! I hope this has some of the elements you wanted :)

Scenario:

It’s nearly midnight. Long past sunset; pitch black settled in hours ago. Hiking around here earlier today (in the daylight, mind you), I must have dropped one of my airpods. The location pings around a family’s farm, and sneaking around at night is never a good idea.

I wouldn’t even have been here if I wasn’t so stupid. I should have felt it come out of my ear, now I’m stuck searching before it dies. If I don’t look now, it will run out of battery and stop sending out a signal. If only I felt it!! Instead, I didn’t even notice I lost it until I went to listen to my nightly audiobook.

Well, here I am. I think it’s somewhere near the greenhouse, maybe right outside it? I remember cutting through the yard this morning. Let’s see-

But what about the person giving the flowers being allergic to them

Either as a way of saying "I care about you enough that it's worth being a sneezing mess"

001 — untitled, part 1 (?)

A just barely manages to stumble out of the apartment complex’s elevator, eyelids drooped and body weighing heavier than it usually does. He lets out a soft groan, swiping a finger under his nose and leaving a faint trace of mess behind on his fingers.

There wasn’t anyone around to see him in this sorry state, anyway, so he didn’t mind allowing himself a bit of reprieve. He had been, after all, holding his illness back as much as he could over the course of his eight hour shift at work. And, dealing with people constantly… he had to make sure he kept his germs to himself as best he could.

But now that it was all over, A could finally relax. And, finally, he could do something he’s been looking forward to doing the moment he woke up with this monster of a cold.

He contemplated on knocking on his and B’s shared apartment door. Sure, A had his own keys, but he found it a tad boring for him to just enter their home without an entrance of some kind. That was just how he was.

Instead, he patted down his pockets for his phone. His fingers fly to B’s contact details like they’ve done this a thousand times (they probably have), before hitting the call button without so much as clearing his throat in preparation.

Ring… ring… ring…

“…hello?”

A chuckles instinctively at his darling boyfriend’s sleep-addled tone. He could tell he was probably waiting for A to come home, which made his heart squeeze just a bit. However, there were more important matters at hand.

The chuckle turns into a small cough, forcing A to clear his throat. It didn’t really do much to ease its soreness.

“Hey, love,” he rasps, leaning against the door frame as he casually tries to rub his arms to soothe his soft shivers.

”Oh, A,” B seemed to perk up with concern, “are you—“

His concern was sweet. If only A had the time to appreciate it, before the buzzing in his nose rose to an insurmountable height, and then…

”Hih…“

B’s mouth, comically, clamped shut immediately from where he was.

“HIH—“

There was rustling heard on the other end of the phone. A would have smirked, if he could.

“hi’TCHIew! Snf…”

A painfully small sneeze. It was instinctual, the way A held it back. All dainty and professional.

“O-oh,” B stuttered out.

”’Mb sorry, dhad ode sduck upb od mbe.” A clears his throat again, sniffling softly in rapid succession to try and ease his congestion.

”Bless you. I… think I heard you from inside. Do you want me to let you in?”

”Please. I- hh!I cah- c- hiH- snf- ‘couldn’t stop hitchihH— hah.. hah-TCHIEW! Guh. Hitchidg ‘ad sdeezing all day. Itd was awful.”

B swallowed dryly. ”Of course, of course. Give me a second, alright? I’ll get you some tissues, too.”

A smiled knowingly. B was getting flustered already.

"ugh, trust mbe, you don't wandt this."

"you bmight wanna step bagk. I thigk I'b c-contagious... heh-!"

"keeb your distance. I'b really - hih...hah'ISSHiue! ...sigk."

"I don't wand to get you sigk."

"don't combe near mbe unless you want to be in for a world of bmisery."

"huh’GGSSHH’IUE! ugh. enter at your own risk."

"I wouldn't sidt there if I were y-you - ha'iggSHH’iue!"

Someone rubbing their nose with both hands. Obviously their nose is so itchy that one hand tending to it is not enough

The scrunching of the eyes almost like wincing when something really bothers their nose

Nose twitching/flaring (DUH) who doesn’t enjoy a good nose telling you it’s gonna sneeze before the rest of the face does

Tilting the head back right before the sneeze. Either they are so shameless with their sneezes that they don’t care making it a big gesture or it’s really that tickly and they NEED to get it out

Sneezing into two hands instead of one. In my head sneezing into one hand is like oh yeah thanks for the courtesy of trying to cover your sneeze I guess, but TWO hands… damn you really need to catch that sneeze I guess go you

He calls into work while they're fucking doggy style, the gorgeous expanse of her back laid out before him. A soft moan escapes her throat.

“Shhh, sweetheart. I’b on the phode," he says teasingly, waiting for his boss to pick up. The risk of having an audience is a dangerous thrill that pushes them both closer towards the edge.

"Hey, boss. Idt’s mbe." Hopefully his boss takes the dizzy lust in his voice for grogginess instead. A prickling itch builds in his sinuses, and he's unable to cover - one hand busy with the phone and the other wrapped around his wife's hip.

“I don’t… hah… I don’t thigg I-iihh – huh’AEESSSH’UH!”  The thick sneeze explodes in front of him, showering his wife's back with wetness. “I dodn’t thigg I cadn cobme in today.”

“Nng!" His wife stifles a breathy moan as best she can. He leans forward to wrap his wide hand gently over her mouth, feeling her hot breath moist against his palm. The tempo of his thrusts quickens, his hips stuttering with need.

“I thigk I just dneed to stay in bed all d-day. Hih… hih’ZZIISHH’iue!" Another harsh, heavy sneeze sprays over her, settling cool on her skin.

Person A has a really sensitive nose and B doesn't really know the full extent of it yet since they've only been dating for a couple months.

But, A also gets dry hands in the winter so B bought them a new scented lotion (lavender for example). A finds nothing wrong with the product and uses it frequently.
