so often i see holidays about us natives getting bogged down with people trying to overperform their care for us by just.. saying shit like ‘fuck christopher columbus and fuck the colonists’ and like, yeah, mood, but also, try celebrating natives instead! buy native, tell any natives you know that you love n appreciate them, invest a little time in learning to be respectful of our cultures and honoring the land you live on. and, if you can afford to help out, donate to or commission native creators you know, and buy native!
