Stars and Petals 20/9
We were forged in a Star. And O how sad it is that stars, like all else beautiful, must die. I had my thousand years, did you have yours?
And the last petal fell before you or I ever noticed. But that’s what happens when you stop paying attention, isn’t it?
As all our shades of red slowly fade to black, I ask you, would you do it again?
