It also sounds so stupid trying to explain that building up a cinematography business takes time because it’s such a volatile industry…

And on that about 2 weeks ago I spent 14 hours all together editing a film for a competition (I wasn’t paid but I was told I’d be given editor credit). I ended up doing post sound mix and background music (synth drones and whatnot) too which then comes under a different post production role. The director has now taken that editing credit and I’m now credited as edit assistant??!! I did the entire damn thing and he’s added a lil CCTV overlay on 2 shots… that’s SFX NOT FUCKING EDIT😫 I’m so tired man
