Silver hemidrachm struck in Cyrene now Libya. 500-480BCE. The coin face is of the now extinct silphium fruit. The fruit was heart shape and common in the ancient Cyrene area. It started to become extinct due it it being prized for its healing properties; it was also used as an early form of birth control. This led to the association of the shape and passionate love.

Part of a series of three that I’m doing for a class. It’s my interpretation of how each major comic company portrays god. This one is for Marvel who tends to view god through the lens of comics.

Since I came to collage I have been keeping a list of super obvious things that I have learned. For my Design and Image class I had to do a series of 10 images, so I decided to use some of the things I learned from my list as prompts for the images.
