76 “Please put your penis away” 

Shawn was back home from tour and you wanted to surprise your best friend by visiting him. You parked your car in front of the house and went up to ring the bell. 

“Oh (Y/N)! What a surprise”, Karen greeted you and pulled you in for a hug. “Are you here to see Shawn?”.

The huge smile on your face was evidence enough. “Yes, I'm so glad he's back”.   “Me too, hunny, me too”, she closed the door behind you. “Why don't you go right up? He's in the bathroom right now but should be done soon”.

With a quick nod you went up the stairs and towards Shawn’s room, as if it were your own house. Once you reached his room, you opened the door without hesitation, only to be greeted with a butt naked Shawn.

“WHAT THE-“, Shawn quickly tried to cover as much of himself with his hands as he could.

“OH GOD! Sorry, sorry, sorry!”, you replied, covering your eyes. “I wanted to surprise you! Your mom said you were in the bathroom!”.

“Well, clearly I'm not!”, he said, panic lingering in his voice.

“I can see that! Can you please put your penis away?”, you asked, eyes still covered. “This is really awkward”. 

“Yes, yes of course… wait a second”.

You heard Shawn shuffle around in his room and a few moments later you heard him say. “You can uncover your eyes now”.

The two of you stood there for a moment, cheeks bright red from embarrassment, before embracing each other in a tight hug.

“God I missed you so much”, you mumbled into his chest, inhaling his familiar scent.

“I missed you too”, Shawn said and tightened his grip around you, placing a soft kiss atop your head. “But please knock, next time you come for a surprise visit.. okay?”.

6: “I need a place to stay”

You and Shawn have been best friends for years but with him being on tour and moving out, and you being away for college, there wasn’t much time for you two to see each other. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, phone calls turned into texts and texts eventually became the occasional ‘hey, what’s up?’.

Shawn’s phone began vibrating in his back pocket, your name flashing on the screen. “(Y/N)! How are you? How is college?”. He was ecstatic to hear from you again.

“I’m good, college is okay I guess... It would have been more fun with you around but hey, you have to make millions of girl happy, so I guess that’s a good enough excuse”, you laughed.

“You make it sound like a bad thing”.

“No, never! I’m so proud if you... I think I tell you ever time we talk”, you said and felt a slight blush creep on your cheeks. “Hey, you’re in Toronto right now, aren’t you?”.

“I’ll never get tired of hearing it, and yes I am - why?”.

“I need a place to stay”, you simply told him.

“Uh okay, what are you trying to say...?”, he asked warily.

“What I’m trying to say is, that I’m coming home and I’ll be visiting you in Toronto... so I need a place to say...”.

Shawn was quiet for a second, trying to process what you had just told him. “Are you actually?”.

“Yes you complete idiot”, your laugh was heard from the other line and filled Shawn’s heart with complete joy. “Now can I stay at your place or not... I haven’t seen my best friend in months!”.

“Yes! Yes, of course!”, Shawn’s excitement filled your stomach with butterflies. “When are you coming?”.

“Tomorrow morning”, you sheepishly said, hoping that it wasn’t to much trouble for him.

“Okay, wow, I wasn’t expecting you here so soon but I’ll manage... do you need me to pick you up somewhere?”.

The two of you continued talking for hours, making plans for the next couple of days and planning little trips. You wanted to make the best of the time you had together because soon it was back to him being on the road and you being back in college. Before the phone call ended though, the two of you promised each other to keep in contact as much as you can. Even if it meant that he had to wake up at four in the morning to talk to you on the phone.
