Start of the Quarter Reminders
At the beginning of every quarter, you should:
Get your student ID validation sticker. These are available at your college office.
Review your class schedule on the MyUCSC Student Center to verify your enrollment, waitlist status, and possible class changes (time & location changes, cancelled courses, etc.).
Attend all of your enrolled and waitlisted classes during the first week of class.Â
Update your address, phone, and emergency contact info on the MyUCSC Student Center
Spring Enrollment Deadlines
Friday, April 19 is an important deadline day for the following enrollment options:
Add/Drop/Swap a class (keep in mind permission numbers needed after Wednesday, April 10)
Part-Time Program (including supporting documentation turned in to the Registrar's office)
Grading Option- pass/no pass or letter grade (students must be in good academic standing to use P/NP option)
Enrolling In More Than 19 Credits
Students with a cumulative UCSC GPA of 3.0 or above are eligible to enroll in up to 22 credits beginning on the first day of classes.
If your cumulative UCSC GPA is below a 3.0 and you wish to enroll in more than 19 credits, you can inquire with your College Advising office about the appeals/exceptions process. Keep in mind that you do not want to sacrifice the qualify of your academic work by taking on too many credits at once, and your college advisers are mindful of that when considering exceptions.
