First of all, the culture is very different. As an Asian and someone who grew up watching Naruto, I didn't know Sakura or any other characters being bashed. Not until social media happened. Hollywood series are all what you see is what you get. A lot of kissing/sex scenes. Opposed to Kdramas like one kissing scene. Hell, they even barely kiss in Japan. Here in Asia, people are more conservative. I also grew up watching telenovelas, studying facial expressions, going into details. That's why I love Sasusaku.

It takes a deeper understanding to be able to completely grasp Sasusaku.

No, they are not abusive ship. Sasuke also gets the hate for trying to kill Sakura as well as being an absent father to Sarada. First, they are fcking ninjas, I didn't see this amount of hate when hollywood movies feature an enemy to lovers plot. Also guess what, in my country, a father leaving his family to earn money abroad is normal. That doesn't mean Sasuke doesn't care about his family; it's quite the opposite, in fact.

Don't get me started with SasuNaru ship. While I respect the shippers, the idea of two guys/girls relationships are usually frowned upon in Asia. So it's never going to happen. Stop arguing that Sasuke only cared for Naruto. West ppl tend to ignore the little details and fail to understand the characters.

This cultural difference is the reason why Sakura has a lot of fans in Japan. Kishimoto is a Japanese. When he created Naruto, his target audience was his countrymen. He never thought it will be this popular. Japanese people understood the manga better than anyone. The translations will not give enough justice to what authors want to convey. That's the beauty of having your own language. There are words that couldn't fully be translated in english.

Summary: Following a botched mission, Sakura is made a slave by Sound, a position that could very well alter the future…especially concerning a certain familiar missing-nin.

*Basically, Sakura and Sasuke reunited in Orochimaru’s lair. Sasuke has to deal with his unresolved feelings towards Sakura and Team 7 as he tries to protect her from Orochimaru and his underlings. I love this so much that I’ve read it more than ten times. 

An Inch of Gold by @kuriquinn 

Summary: Team 7 is sent on a mission to investigate a disturbance outside of the village, where they encounter an unconscious girl in a crater. The mysterious Sarada insists she's a shinobi from the Hidden Leaf trying to rescue her teammates. When the team discovers she possesses a Sharingan, things become even more unbelievable.

*Time Travel AU. Sarada meets Genin Sasusaku. This fic is action-packed with cute and adorable moments of current and past Team 7. There is also plenty of Naruhina interactions. Whenever I get bored, I come back to this fic and reread it again. You also got to check out all KuriQuinn’s fics, all of them are good! I recommend Penthesilea and Samsara the most.

*Summary: Sasuke was destined to be alone. To lead a life of solitude. Or at least that was what he'd always told himself; he would've never thought that he'd have to fight for a family he never knew he had. He may have chosen to lead a life of isolation, but in the end, it wasn't meant to be. Post-War. SasuSaku. Mild NaruHina. Rated T for violence and language.

*Sasuke left Konoha after the war and had been traveling for years, but then he encountered a little girl which forced him to return home. This fic is also action-packed and the anticipation for Sasusaku reunion is high. There is a sequel Never Count The Stars, but it hasn’t been updated for years.
