Gaara is a freshman, which means that physical education is required in the schedule. Plus, he signed up for some sections in order to spend less time at home alone with himself. Volleyball is one of them. He plays with a couple of his classmates. I must say, he plays average — the captain of the team, Shiro, who is also the head of the course, carries the brunt of the matches. During one of the training sessions before the university competitions, Neji looked into the gym to invite the physical education teacher to a meeting about the future campaign. And Gaara, in order to attract the professor's attention, decided to show off his accuracy — or, conversely, lack of it — and launched the ball towards Neji. The ball went into the wall. Neji intercepted it from the floor and, apparently, wanted to make a pitch — he hit the ball on the floor, but at that moment the physical education teacher had already returned, so the projectile simply went into the hands of the nearest student. Gaara was pleased: he attracted the attention of the teacher. And Shiro, watching this episode, drew attention to the whiplash of the hand placed on impact.

Competitions were held within the university between students. During the distribution, Shiro's team had to play against the first-year magistracy.
