I’ve played Paralives for about 5 hours now. The system feels a lot like The Sims 3—it has a color wheel, so you can customize any outfit to your liking, plus a 2-layer clothing system that's perfect for dress-up.

But it also shares the exact same issues as TS3. As time goes on and the town grows, cache files pile up and the game starts lagging hard. (My GPU is literally in airplane mode and my PC feels like a space heater right now. 🔥✈️) There are way fewer interactive objects than the Sims 4 base game, and characters constantly freeze or get stuck in weird terrain. This used to happen all the time in TS3 and was the main reason for corrupted saves—back then, you basically *had* to rely on mods to wipe the cache just to keep it running.

Building is definitely more flexible, though. Build mode combines free placement and free rotation, making it feel like a proper house-building game. (Personally, I’m not a builder; I’m more into the gameplay.)

One major annoyance: for languages other than English, you *must* install the game on your C drive for the language change to work. This really bugs me because my C drive is completely maxed out.

That said, it’s still in Early Access, so bugs are expected, and they’ve promised no paid DLCs. (Though I'm guessing they might introduce an online store with interactive items for sale, TS3-style.)

If you don't want to deal with a half-baked game, I'd suggest holding off until the community and mod scene mature a bit more before buying.

Palalives我大約玩了五個小時，它的系統接近sims3，有調色盤系統，所以一件衣服可以變化成你想要的款式。有二層服裝圖層可以玩穿搭遊戲。而且有和sims3幾乎一樣的問題，隨著城市和時間的累積，暫存檔越來越多，遊戲會越來越頓卡。（我的顯示卡在開飛機，電腦主機像暖爐。）可以互動的物件比sims4基本遊戲少很多，而且很常發生人物凍結或卡在地圖中奇怪的地形，這在sims3很常發生，也是存檔故障主要原因，後來都要仰賴mod把大量暫存刪除才能勉強運作。

蓋房子確實比較自由，建築模式已經結合自由擺放和自由旋轉，這更接近一個完整的蓋房子遊戲。（但我不喜歡蓋房子，我更喜歡遊戲性。）

另外，除了英文，其他語言必須安裝在電腦中的C槽才能正常改變其他語言，我對這個很困擾，因為我C槽已經幾乎沒有空間。

但因為它是EA階段一定還有很多問題，而且他們承諾不會販售DLC。（但我猜他們會像sims3會有線上市集，販售有互動的物件，我猜。）
