TJ & Cyrus finally walk back inside, still in shock

They see Buffy & Marty on the dance floor and go over to them

Buffy and Cyrus look at each other and have a silent ***Well???? …….yES!?!? SAME I—!!!!!!! asdfghklsksjsk*** and then hug so tightly

Marty looks at TJ and is about to open his mouth to introduce himself for the 600th time when TJ says “hey! Marty, right? :)” and Marty is shocked but then is like “…yeah :)”

TJ leaves for a hot sec to go to the bathroom and runs into Jonah who’s like “hey dude— I didn’t know you played piano, you’re really good” and TJ goes “thanks man. You play guitar right? Haha maybe we should start a band” and walks away and Jonah’s like *… wait maybe we should lmao*

While this^ goes on Buffy and Marty are slow dancing but they’re both trying to lead and it’s so dumb and flirty

Andi and Amber are off in a corner talking and Amber’s like “I can’t believe that I ruined your first party… thanks for giving me a second chance… I’m lucky to have you as a friend” and Andi just smiles at her and says “we’re both lucky” and amber highkey starts to tear up and they hug

The party dies down, most people start to leave

Marty kisses Buffy on the cheek before he heads out and then she pulls him back and kisses him before literally shoving him out the door

Cyrus walks TJ to the street holding hands. They pause and TJ just goes “So… Talk to you tomorrow?” And Cyrus goes “yes” the same way he said it on the bench and TJ reels and takes both his hands and squeezes them in his own before turning and walking away

Cyrus waits until TJ is gone and allows himself to jump up and down and squeal for three seconds before abruptly calming down and going back to the house

Jonah and Buffy are laughing about something in the corner and throwing m&ms in each other’s mouths

Cyrus joins them, and they start playfully hurling m&ms at him until he begs them to stop

Andi is sitting outside, smiling through the door at all of them, her favorite people

Buffy notices Andi and they all go out to sit with her

- develop the Kira/TJ/Cyrus storyline more. Nothing against how Minsky and her crew wrapped it up, I just suspect it was either supposed to take more than 8 episodes or those 8 episodes weren't also supposed to tie up EVERYTHING. The flow from Cyrus avoiding TJ, an explanation of how Kira even got TJ to switch costumes, their whole "friendship", Cyrus seeing Kira on the swings...alot of it got glossed over. I think they thought they would get more time.

-More rare pairs! We saw Buffy and Jonah hang out just them early on in S3, and I would love more of that - especially since they are the "jocks" of the GHC, even with Jonah's new music skills. Seriously, more Buffy/Jonah hang outs, Cyrus/Jonah hangouts, Andi/Cyrus, Buffy/TJ (basketball prep for hs anyone?), Andi/TJ, Marty/Anyone hangouts, Amber/Buffy and Amber/Andi and Amber/Buffy/Andi hangouts. The actors all are great, I would just love to see different dynamics.

-Jonah/TJ/Marty friendship.

-Walker popping back up for a while, as well as Libby

-More Amber and her solidifying her friendship with the whole group

-Giving Jonah and Andi more space and time away from relationships and that being OKAY

-more Marty/Buffy banter

-the gang in high school!

-Buffy, TJ, Marty and Jonah all having to up their game for their respective sports and struggling with it.

-Bex and Bowie as a married couple!

-Jonah occasionally pulling out the old lingo for laughs

-More Karoke please

-Acknowledgment that Andi and Cyrus are best friends with 4 jocks, 3 of whom are very ready to throw down anyone who insults their friends and Marty honestly would probably help too

-Libby coming back occasionally to craft with Andi

-Andi getting showcased as an artist

-the kids developing interests outside of "their thing"

-more of the GHC plus Jonah friendship shenanigans (like the Mint Chip stuff)

-More LGBTQA! (Jonah as Aro/Ace Anyone? Andi/Amber?)

-more episodes that showcase other cultures (like they did with Chinese New Year)/storylines about anxiety and military struggles

-Introduction of siblings so that not everyone is an only child

-high school struggles! Tougher classes, bigger school body, new people!

-continued confusion by Amber/TJ/Marty whenever the group references someone from a storyline they weren't a part of (examples : Reed, Gus, Libby, Walker, Iris, Bex/Bowie/Cece, Miranda )

-more sassy comments from Cyrus similar to "what? Jonah has nice eyes too."

-the return of that one locker guy near Cyrus

-episode taking place outside of Shadyside

-Andi tackling life and storylines outside of her relationships and her parents

-last name for Marty and Amber! (Now THAT would be a hilarious surprise sibling twist)

-Buffy being called slayer by all the jocks all the time

-TJ and Buffy becoming close friends, helping each other improve in basketball and then going over strategies together

-everyone cheering on each other at games/art shows/literally anything

-Buffy and Andi girl friendship fun; GHC shenanigans

-Andi and Co taking on The Status Quo and winning

-more time building toward their endgsme ships

-Cece, Bex and Andi acknowledging all the roles they have played in each others lives and growing together

-Amber, TJ and Marty all becoming secondary mains

Andi Mack || Tyrus || TJ Coming Out & First Dance

“So… didja hear about the dance?” TJ tried to ask casually. He was in Cyrus’ room, sprawled across his bed, surrounded by the last piles of homework of the year. It was getting late, and Cyrus, sitting at his desk, was hunched over his laptop, his scrunched up face illuminated as he furiously typed his final English paper.

“Huh?” Cyrus asked, squinting at his most recent paragraph, obviously barely listening. TJ’s throat felt a little dry and he pushed himself up into a semi-sitting position, a little shakily. He had felt nervous since Metcalf’s announcement that morning— that the Eighth Grade Dance would be a formal event, and people were encouraged to dress up. There would be a DJ, and fruit punch, and teacher chaperones. There would be dancing. Slow dancing.

“The dance,” TJ repeated. “Ya’know, The Eighth Grade Dance.” Cyrus stopped typing and turned around, eyes adjusting to the dim room.

“Oh yeah, of course! Buffy was talking about it at lunch, and how Metcalf is probably doing it to try and one-up Andi’s party— he and Bex have been mortal enemies since the dress code protest,” Cyrus explained dramatically.

“So you guys aren’t going?” TJ asked, unsure of what he wanted the answer to even be. Cyrus looked surprised.

“What? Of course we’re going, everyone is going. Just, nothing Jefferson does will ever top Andi’s party. I mean, the lights, the music, Mrs. Mack dancing in the T-Rex costume, you emerging from the shadows to release the metaphysical spirit of Lady Gaga— It was…” Cyrus trailed off, his eyes finding TJ’s. “It was a good party.”

“Yeah,” TJ said softly. “It was.”

They stared at each other for a long moment, lost in the memory.

“Wait… are you not going?” Cyrus suddenly demanded, leaning forward abruptly.

“What? No, I’m going! I just was wondering if you were also going,” TJ explained, reddening.

“Well, I am also going,” Cyrus said, again.

“Yeah, me too,” TJ said, talking in circles.

There was a very long, very confusing pause.

“Wait,” Cyrus said. He stood up. “Wait, sorry, are you asking— wait.”

“Well I mean, I don’t know if—” TJ stood up too. “I mean, sometimes people like to go as a group—”

“—Not everyone. I mean, people go not as a group also—”

“—Right, because it’s a dance—a formal dance—”

“—Like, Buffy’s going with Marty, obviously,” Cyrus said, voice speeding up a bit. “He asked her at lunch and she literally javelined a carrot at him and was like ‘Wow do you have a crush on me or something?’ and he was like ‘I mean if you don’t want to go, we can break up and I’ll ask the lunch lady’ and he literally started acting like he was walking towards the lunch counter and Buffy was smirking and called out ‘Bold of you to assume she’ll say yes’— sorry I’m getting off track, but long story short, she said yes— Buffy, not the lunch lady—so they’re going. I mean as a couple. Because they are a couple.”

“We’re a couple,” TJ pointed out. Cyrus paused, internally having a why-am-I-gasping?-I-knew-that moment, but hearing it aloud still had a dizzying effect.

“We are,” Cyrus agreed.

Another pause.

He’s pretty athletic and I’m 99% sure he plays basketball, but I know for sure he does some sports?

He used to be kind of “scary” but turns out he’s super nice

His HAIR! Always gelled at the beginning of the year but it looks softer now.

There have been rumors circulating that he’s gay and people say he is a lot (idk if it’s true because a lot of the boys in my grade joke about being gay but he does give off a gay vibe)
