Found this quote and it made me think: For years I've struggled with my emotions until I realized the best way to control them is to embrace them. It is emasculating for guys to show their emotions. For generations men have said, "Real men don't cry," "Throw some dirt on it" and other phrases to "toughen us up" or "making us into a man" . In all reality we're humans we're all meant to have emotions males and females a like. But instead our emotions are internalized which lead to deeper issues in society and inner battles. As a male you must meet certain standards or you're considered a pariah of society or labeled as less of a man. So cry if you need to, yell if you want, be silent, laugh as loud and obnoxious as you want, smile from ear to ear, be yourself.
