“Sorry about startling you.” Micah told him as he emerged in the grey tank top. He let his yes flit over the other for a moment before giving a big smile. “You look really good.” He said before Vi handed over the container of cookies and went to sit down.

Ty clocked on to the subtle yes and smirked.

He gestured for Vi to sit on the couch as he made his way back over to the kitchen. “I’m sorry that the house is a bit messy, I wasn’t expecting any company.” He took this moment to steal a quick kiss on Micah’s cheek while Vi was distracted.

Unfortunately, the last “am” was cut off by his sheer startle at Micah and unexpectedly Vi, being present in his house suddenly.

Micah smiled at Ty, enthralled with him and his voice. “Sorry, the door was unlocked and we decided to come on in.” He said, trying to reassure Ty that he was okay.

Vi smiled at Ty. “We brought cookies! You sing pretty.”

”No worries! You just startled me a little.” Ty smiled then looked at Vi.

“Lucky for you I love cookies!” Ty smiled again. “In return, you can have a smoothie.”

He gave a subtle nod to Micah that he was going to go find a shirt and disappeared into the bedroom. He then emerged in a gray tank top.

Micah had been missing Ty, so he’d decided to pop in on him and see how he was doing.

He grabbed a container of cookies. He then got ready to go down to Ty’s apartment with Vi in tow.

It didn’t take them long to get down to the third floor and knock on the door, hearing some singing. After a bit of Ty not coming to the door, Micah decided to try and open the door, which opened easily. With Vi, he stepped into the room, a smile on his face as he watched the other man sing.

Ty stepped out the shower and put on some socks and shorts, he’d put on a shirt later.

He got his dressing down and wrapped it around himself and tightened the strap. It was a hot day, so he decided to make some smoothies.

He wandered into the kitchen/living room and put his blender on the work surface.

“Alexa, play I am What I Am!” He called out as he took some fruit and some fruit juice out of the fridge and began chopping.

“I am what I am, I don’t want praise, I don’t want pity!” Ty sang along as he chopped up the fruit.

A local gallery has got in touch with me, saying they want to showcase my paintings. How in the hell- how did I- How did they-

Micah practically melted into the kiss before he walked into Ty’s apartment. The smile came back onto his face before kissing ty sweetly in return.

He then held up the stuff he had brought and grinned wide. “I figured we could have a picnic. Either here, at the park, or up on the roof. It doesn’t matter to me.”

“Oooh, I love a good picnic.” Ty giggled. “We’ll go up to the roof, it’s nice up there and I don’t go up there often at all.”

“You just get better and better.” Ty quickly put on his shoes and smiled. “Who is looking after Vi?”

Micah put down the phone and packed some food into containers. He got to work packing the drinks and everything they’d need, along with a blanket. He had missed Ty very much, so much so that he left as soon as his sister had arrived to watch Vi.

It didn’t take him long to get to Ty’s apartment and knock on the door. A big smile was on his face as he waited for his boyfriend to answer the door.

Ty quickly got himself dressed and flattened his hair after he saw Micah’s text. He sat on the couch and waited for Micah to arrive. He heard the door knock and he walked over to it and opened it.

“Hey, honey.” Ty said with a smile as he pulled his boyfriend into a kiss. “Come in.” He stood to the side to let Micah walk in before he shut the door behind him.

“How come you came down so urgently?”
