I'm struggling not to have a meltdown at work lol

last week, I was an elected national delegate to the convention this week, I'm pawning birthday and Christmas gifts to pay for cab fare bc 1) I can't afford to get my car fixed 2) my account is negative and can't get uber/lyft 3) the bus stop is 9 miles from my house and it's 96 degrees out 4) I have family but picking me up is too big of a burden (even tho I offer to pay) ppl think I'm doing well but I'm actually really fucking struggling???????????? and I can't get a better job cuz I have a record (drug charges from when I was 13) and I don't have a degree (I've earned the credits I need but I owe $6k so my diploma is being withheld) i don't see the sun coming out any time soon lol

out of a field of 6 candidates (of whom I was the youngest by over 10 years) I was overwhelmingly elected to be a delegate to the democratic national convention! but as such, I need to raise money to fund it (the hotel alone costs $2k) even if it's just $5, id greatly appreciate if you could chip in to help me in this historic event! After ICE Took An Undocumented Grandfather Into Custody, An Immigrant Advocate Mobilized Thousands

Apolinar Sanchez Cornejo is a 67-year-old undocumented grandfather from Mexico who has lived in California since 1992 and works in an auto repair shop. Last week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents took him into custody in an early morning raid at his house. By noon, Sanchez Cornejo was put into deportation proceedings.
