“I’m not cleaning nothing up but nice try.” He quickly took out his phone, checking the time to see how much longer they were going to be out there while still listening to her. “Man. You want a lot from me. Clean yo shoes, tell niggas not to drop drinks. You got me mixed up with someone else.” He laughed as he put his phone back and grabbed a cookie from the table. “But nah I go back and forth between a smile, a mug, and that ultimate lightskin nigga face. You gotta be switiching it up.” 

“It was worth a try.” She shrugged as she chuckled. “See, now you draggin’ it. The least you could do is tell that crowd to stop disrespecting my gangsta’ and put some respect on my shoes. Mean ass.” She taunted the male, looking down at the cookie he had picked up, deciding to take up one for herself. “Lightskin nigga face? They still letting ya’ get away with that? Uh-uh. I been tryna’ switch between tongue out and just plain cheesin’, but I swear my jaw wants to lock.” She exaggerated, before glancing down at the time displayed on her watch. “When do we go to that after party thing?”

“No, forreal, though. I’m thinking we might see maybe a couple of people, fifty if anything. I’m not used to stuff like this, at all.” She shook her head, glancing over at the crowd, before finally making eye contact with the male. Her eyes widened a bit at the sight of the snack. “Wait, we had donuts?!” She eagerly asked, her eyes scanning the table. NIA let out a chuckle at his statement. “I should, huh? Let me know if you need some new sneakers, too. I might just start hookin’ people up, and make this a lil’ side business.”

“You know all the fans came to see pretty lil’ ol’ you, ‘cause I know for sure they not here for my ass. I don’t do anything. Besides drink and occasionally throw ‘em.” She let out a short lived chuckle, picking up a bottle of water, loosening the cover. “Well, you think you could introduce them to half of that crowd? On my behalf? ‘Cause the way my shoes is scuffed up, I’m starting to think it was on purpose.”

At this point in his career OMARI was used to events like this and having to fake like he wanted to be there. With as big as their cast was, he was just happy that some of attention could be spread out. “You messed bringing the all whites out. The after party might be worse too. Niggas love spilling alcohol when you got something on that you tryna keep clean.” He explained as he could recall some instances when that had happened to him. “How you tapping out already though?”

She let out an even deeper sigh, brushing some of her hair our of her face as she glanced down at her shoes. “It’s aight, ‘cause you cleaning them for me, right?” She grinned playfully, glancing back up at him. “But, niggas better know better when it comes to me. I hate cleaning shoes, I’m the type to literally buy a new pair. You better tell them to hold they cups very tight, tonight.” Shaking her head, the female’s scrunched up a bit. “Me? Tapping out? Not even. I just need a lil’ break. Like, your cheeks aren’t starting to hurt from all this smiling?”

Listening to the responding female, he knew exactly what she was trying to convey. “I hear you, I get like that sometimes so I ain’t even gon’ press my luck with that.” He raised his brows as she asked about the game of craps, before busting out in a fit of laughter. “Nah, not even close. I ain’t never heard someone call it that before. But craps is a dice game, you basically betting on rolling a certain number. Its low key risky like blackjack.” 

“For some reason, I could tell.” She nodded her head, letting out a low and short chuckle. Her eyes widened a bit as the male laughed at the statement, a confused smile formed across her features until hearing his explanation. “Wow, now I feel maaaad dumb.” NIA shook her head, momentarily covering her face with her hand. “I thought they just called that dice? I could lowkey jack that one more, it seems like more fun. I don’t know how people could play it, though. You gotta’ be the ode adrenaline feen for that one. ‘Cause ain’t no way niggas is winning that, easily.” She shook her head once again, before completing turning around, looking for the table. “You wanna give it a try?”

OMARI walked into the casino a lil late as he brushed his hands down his fit to get rid of any wrinkles from the ride over. He wasn’t a big gambler but he knew his way around a casino. Looking around at the familiar faces, he walked towards the bar to start off with a drink while he pondered what game he wanted to start with first. “I’m thinking ‘bout playing black jack but ion know. I feel the craps table calling my name though low key. Whatchu’ think?” He asked looking at the person nearby.  

Leaning against the bar, NIA’s attention was focused on the bottle of HENNESSY she was staring down, contemplating on whether or not she’d mix drinking and gambling. Overhearing the husky voice, she twisted her lips to the side. “Blackjack is easy money if you not too...what’s that word for when you’re full of yourself? That. I never heard of a craps table, though.” Her brows slightly furrowed as she glanced at him. “Is that slang for bathroom or somethin’?”
