This was originally going to be a post about how Victor is not a victorian era character, as he was written to be in the 1780s through the 1790′s, and Mary Shelley wrote the book also before the victorian era.

but instead of scolding people for something that didn’t matter, I decided to give the “shorts in winter” look to a character less likely to wear it, a creature in breeches.
