As a special twelfth episode treat J.D. and Connor get lunch with a new friend. J.D. has bought new equipment. Connor has to perform a show. This episode has conversations about art, unexpected surprises, an audio archive of one of Connor's shows and a stolen radio broadcast. This was a good twelve hour day.

12 Hour Day - Episode 11 - May 7, 2016

J.D. and Connor start the episode at J.D.'s apartment and eventually have to head into the city because J.D. has to edit and episode of Season 2 of the Chris Gethard Show. Connor talks to people on the phone at the show offices while J.D. works. They spend a lot of time together just talking and end up walking to a Broadway theater together. They create new songs, reflect on their viewer/listenership, and J.D. provides some private time after Connor has to leave.

12 Hour Day - Episode 10 - December 12, 2015

J.D. and Connor start out at Connor's apartment and intend to spend the day doing holiday stuff. They get caught up in conversation and eventually have to head into the city so Connor can perform in a Star Wars themed show. J.D. saves a stranger's hat, but gets badly injured along the way. J.D. and Connor steal power from Lincoln Center. Connor and J.D. find some pleasant New York City holiday joy and also find themselves in the middle of a New York City holiday nightmare. There's some private time, some wandering, some time at the UCB Theater, and a couple phone calls to important people.

12 Hour Day - Episode 9 - August 21, 2015

J.D. and Connor board a plane together to Colorado so that they can both attend a wedding. They wander the airports, talk on the plane, drive through the mountains, and accidentally fall asleep for several hours during the podcast (which is included in it's entirety due to listener outcry). Also, the recorder runs out of batteries and without an outlet J.D. and Connor have no course of action. The podcast picks up weeks later as Connor and J.D. attend the taping of a WFMU radio show. This episode contains some very special guests and has some sections casual listeners may have to fast-forward through.

J.D. and Connor decide to record an episode from within the subterranean offices of the Chris Gethard Show on a Saturday. Both are audibly tired and J.D. leaves Connor alone for long spells to take work calls and respond to emails. This episode includes conversations at an improv show and personal phone calls with Connor. This episodes includes some of the most solitary moments of the podcast as well as some of the most guest-filled thanks to Connor's phone calls. J.D. thinks people will not like this episode.

Winter is slowly coming to a close and after a long time of not being able to record, Connor and J.D. decide to spend a rare Saturday together. They start off talking music with a special musician guest and then forget they are recording and accidentally get over-engaged in a chat-room. Eventually they head into the city because Connor has one last show in New York before he heads to Texas for South By Southwest. It's been a while, so Connor and J.D. have a lot to say.

It's winter and J.D. and Connor are hosting a late-night holiday get together at the theater. But, the boys decide to go on a Christmas adventure before it starts. Unfortunately, a lot of things go wrong including the adventure part of the the podcast being completely lost due to temperature-based equipment malfunction. But, Connor and J.D. still manage to talk to friends, argue about minutia, independently oscillate their moods, and eventually sing songs with friends. As a special in-episode bonus content, we take some breaks to visit with J.D. and Connor's respective families over the holidays.

This episode has long conversational guests, a new "segment" as created by Connor, and J.D. taking lots of work phone calls. You get public time, private time, and maybe even some boat time.

12 Hour Day - Episode 2 - February 17, 2014

It's a particularly cold day and J.D. and Connor meet up at the Woodside-61st Street subway station and begin recording their 12 Hour Day as they walk towards Connor's apartment. This episode features the first public description of Connor's apartment, some deeply personal conversations, and dozens of hash-tag requests. Emotions range from introspective, to bemused, to sad, to nostalgic. J.D. and Connor spend the day by themselves but there is a brief guest background appearance by a grocery store employee.
