Youson Week 2026

welcome once again, survivors, to Youson Week!

Youson Week is a prompt-based art challenge designed for DST selfshippers of all kinds and characters. it started out as a way to highlight self inserts and ocs specific to Wilson, and has now flourished into a general appreciation for selfshipping within the DST fandom. it is also inspired directly by Maxwil and Weslow week!

Youson Week starts annually on May 19th, and will be held for 7 days. we have about a two week grace period for people that have to start late, or take their time on their submissions! here we will be highlighting all entries, tagged by their artist handle, the year, and the prompt day. (i.e. #mxboxlocks, #youson week 2026, #day 5)

AUs will be listed by their names (i.e. 'the darker side of science au'). if an au shares the same name or it's a common concept, it'll have the artist name first (i.e. mxboxlocks swap au).

these are the guidelines! important ones are highlighted in blue:

crossover ships are literally awesome, so they're allowed too! last year we had wilson x megaman and i sincerely adored every bit of it

your prompt can be in art, writing, music, animation, or any other medium you deem fit!

you do not have to be "good" at any of the above to participate. everyone is welcome!! art is art!! make the things!!

your prompts must be ship related, whether that be romantic or not. yay, familial and platonic selfships!

your submissions don't have to be your selfship; if you want to lift up others' selfships, do so!

you can prep for the week in advance, but don't start posting until May 19th to avoid confusion!

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FINISH THE WEEK OUT!!! IF YOU NEED TO STOP, THEN DO SO!!! your health is important and this is for fun please don't stress lol

use the tag #youson week 2026 and @ me (dst-youson-week or mxboxlocks) when sharing your works, so we can see them!
