Ryoga wished that she'd have told him more but at the same time, he understood her need for privacy. He was thankful that he hadn't pressed her for details.▬ { ♔ } ▬ Though, when it came to romance, Ryoga couldn't really blame her for wanting to date a human, instead of a Barian. It wasn't like there was a huge pool of suitors for her to choose from. "I wasn't aware, but if I am to be entirely honest? I can't really say that I blame her, considering who her options are. I'm looking into dating, myself..." He grew silent for a moment, crossing his own arms. A brow was quirked, grin on Shark's lips now. "And aren't you doing something similar, Mizael?" ▬

{ ♔ } ▬ Normally, the first words out of his mouth would be some sort of playful remark, but he was legitimately surprised. The dorky girl was actually working on making a life for herself... A grin cracked the Kamishiro boy's lips, hands going to his hips. "I'll have to drop by the cafe some time; see how you are doing." ▬ { ♔ } ▬ He knew how it felt to try to save for something by working. He was working on getting a better job but, for the time being, the one at the aquarium was good enough for him. Plus, it let him get close to the thing he loved- the sea and all the life that made a home under the waves... ▬

{ ♔ } ▬ "I'd prefer the conversation to the latter, Mizael."  A small sigh escaped pursed lips, Ryoga turning his gaze to the other Barian. He couldn't even recall what he had been musing over not too long ago. It couldn't have been too important, considering how quickly the thoughts escaped him. "Anything is better than nothing." ▬

Not gushing and telling her how much he had missed her. No. Not him. That wasn't what Shark did. Even if he had missed her quite badly... ▬
