currently fixated on TaleSpin

It's been a year since I threw my life away published the first chapter of my fan novel. To celebrate, I decided to appropriately torture myself by making a series of comic panels illustrating the scenes many readers have requested. Here's part 1.

For those unfamiliar, the air pirates have captured a foreign princess, who is so airheaded that she believes they rescued her from certain doom. Fortunately for her, the equally airheaded crew has misunderstood their captain's sarcasm and believe they are supposed to treat her like a royal guest. To thank them for rescuing her, the princess is helping them make improvements to their quality of life, beginning by cleaning up their filthy mess hall and galley---catching their capitán by surprise..

This may or may not happen in Chapter 20 of The Good, the Bad, and the Very Very Handsome, which just dropped for your cozy reading pleasure :) Through a fortunate turn of events, poor little syrup-brained Salwa thinks Don Karnage is her nation's savior and has quite fallen in love with him. He's been torn between his mushy heart and his better sense... until now. Now, he's a puddle of pirate-colored goo.

It has come to my attention that there are other characters in my story besides Salwa and Karnage. Well then. Here's the rest of the cast.

“Salwa emerged, adorned all in gold, shimmying towards the center of the stage. Her shimmering fabric, sequins, and hair cast mesmerizing flashes of light as she twisted and twirled. She danced across the stage with breathtaking grace and artistry, her long, golden wings flowing around her, highlighting the fluidity and precision of her movements.

For Don Karnage, the rest of the room had evaporated from existence as soon as Salwa had entered the stage. Now, he hung on her every twirl, swoop, and shimmy. The blood coursed through his body like the throbbing of the flute, as song blended into song, and time blurred around him. At this moment, he would give any of his treasures to be one of the sashes that danced along with the princess, winding and unwinding itself around her lithe frame.”
