There's always a moment of intense cultural whiplash whenever I realize I'm talking to someone who thinks "legal" and "illegal" are meaningful categories and ascribes innate goodness to following the law. It's like meeting a space alien.

I do think it's funny that Murderbot complains about all the stuff that it doesn't know because its company didn't teach it anything useful but then when Three spends all its time interacting with nonfiction media and learning stuff mb is like "I don’t get you. Why would you watch nonfiction when there is sanctuary moon"

We need to conquer space travel for the only reason that zero-g would allow for new never before seen pastries, you know how the top of the muffin is the best part? Well that is because it is exposed to air so it changes the chemistry, in normal earth gravity it is impossible to make a muffin that is all top part because it needs to be placed somewhere which would restrict air flow, however in zero g it would be possible to make a bubble out of muffin dough which gets optimal airflow and becomes an all-top part muffin... This is the dream...

this fucking sucks. I got soul-bonded to a living weapon who takes the form of a beautiful girl. But she has no fucking joie de vivre about it. I keep trying to do combined dramatic attack cries but she’s all like. “No that’s embarrassing” and “just kill him, don’t waste time.” she won’t even let me name her finishing move. I think she only has a finishing move because it’s just a reliable path of least resistance. This fucking sucks
