Fun fact about the fic! This is the first time I can remember that I didn't write a story in fully chronological order. I had fragments of future chapters saved in my notes so I wouldn't forget the way I wanted to write those scenes, and then I'd incorporate them into the text when I got to those chapters. You can tell which ones came first by the start dates on my progress chart:
Basically everything that I wrote ahead of time made it into its respective chapters, though I sometimes had to make a few tweaks so it would fit better.
