Teaching is a work of heart.

How much am I expected to plan if I am going to have a sub open my class and fill in for a few months? Detailed plans? Open to input simple lesson plans? No plans? All plans? HELP.

As I see everyone’s getting ready for school posts everywhere, it’s weird not to be doing the same. I love back to school season. I love new supplies, fresh ideas, and the excitement of what the school year will hold. It’s going to be weird not starting the year with my students, but I love spending time with my son. I can’t believe he is almost 2 months. The summer is surely flying by.

Trying to fight the urge to buy EVERYTHING at the Target dollar spot...it all looks so tempting!

This is around the time in the summer where I usually start shopping for the school year, going to trainings, and slowly start getting into the swing of things. It’s weird not doing that right now. I’m going to be on leave for a few months in the beginning of the year which means it will be the first time I don’t open the class, aside from my first year of teaching.

Whenever I would put a T into my url search bar, tumblr would automatically pop up...now it has shifted to Target. I have done so much online shopping ing through target lately....almost baby time!

Everything tastes better with some ketchup on it.
