I swear I saw it somewhere, but when I tried to look it up, all I got was T3RF shit. So, if you’re the original coiner of genderthreat or threatgender, lemme know so I can link the coining post.

Genderthreat is when your gender feels threatening or like a threat.

The bottom two stripes mean fear and pain. This is to acknowledge the fear of others and self, as well as the pain which led to that fear or happened as a result of that fear.

The middle stripe means energy. I can’t explain it well with words, but it’s the energy I associate with it, the sort of.. lunge-y energy you get when you’re chasing a friend while playing tag.

The second-down from the top stripe is for protection, either feeling as though your gender is a weapon to protect others or something that lacks protection.

The top stripe is for safety and acceptance. This is for connecting to people like yourself and feeling less like a threat.
