They don’t have any real interaction until season 10 and even then it’s, like, a couple scenes here and there. Then there’s season 11 where it’s basically the first time they have proper conversations and scenes together.
They pass by each other before finding each other when they need it most. Tucker had just lost his best friend for the second time and he wasn’t there for it yet again and Wash had nowhere to go and needed a place to stay
