just got a request and i cried writing antons part of it 😛😛😛
i love ur dad!riize series so much it’s always my favorite thing to read before bed! so comforting 🥹
tysm !!! thats so funny bc i write most my little drabbles right before i go to bed 😭
can you write about bunny and sunshine meeting for the first time? I love that little girl DOWN 😇
BOOM ITS HERE
thank you for the ask bc i was actually working on it for another anon !!!
the first time bunny met her baby sister she spent the entire drive to the hospital talking about how excited she was. she’d been counting down the days for months, crossing each one off the little calendar hanging on the refrigerator because she’d decided that was the fastest way to make her little sister arrive. every morning before school she’d ask if today was the day and every afternoon she’d come home with another drawing she’d made for the baby. your refrigerator had slowly disappeared beneath crayon pictures labeled for the baby, most of them featuring a baby with bright yellow hair because bunny had taken the nickname 'sunshine' very literally.
now that the day had finally come, she couldn’t sit still. wonbin had barely buckled her into her car seat before the questions started. “is she really here now?” she asked excitedly, kicking her legs against the seat. “like … she’s not in mama’s tummy anymore?” wonbin smiled as he pulled out of the driveway and answered, “she’s really here.” bunny leaned forward as far as her seatbelt would let her before asking another question. “did mama already see her?” wonbin nodded. “she’s been holding her all morning.” bunny hummed thoughtfully before continuing. “did sunshine cry?” he smiled. “a little.” she looked at him through the rearview mirror before asking, “did you cry?” wonbin laughed under his breath before sheepishly admitting, “maybe."
by the time they reached the hospital, bunny had somehow become even more excited. she skipped beside wonbin through the lobby with her stuffed bunny tucked underneath one arm. every nursery window they passed made her stop to peek inside. “is she in there?” she’d whisper hopefully every few steps and every time wonbin would smile before answering, “not yet.” a few doors later she’d point somewhere else and ask, “that one?” he’d shake his head again. “not that one either.” after the fourth guess she finally looked up at him suspiciously and asked, “are you sure mama is here?” wonbin laughed while pressing the elevator button. “i’m very sure.”
the elevator doors opened a few seconds later and the closer they got to your room the quieter bunny became. the excitement slowly turned into nervousness until she reached over without saying anything and slipped her hand into wonbin’s. he looked down immediately before giving her little hand a gentle squeeze. “you okay? want me to pick you up?” he asked softly. bunny nodded once before admitting, “i’m just a little scared.”
wonbin stopped walking altogether before crouching down in front of her. “what are you scared of?” he asked gently. bunny stared down at her shoes for a second before whispering, “what if she doesn’t like me?” wonbin smiled immediately before brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “bun,” he said softly, “she’s been listening to your voice for months.” bunny blinked in surprise. “she has?” wonbin nodded. “every time you talked to mama, every time you sang to her, every time you kissed mama’s tummy goodnight, sunshine heard you.” bunny looked back up at him with wide eyes. “she already knows who her big sister is,” he promised. the worried look disappeared almost instantly. “really?” she asked quietly. wonbin smiled. “really.” bunny smiled back before nodding once. “okay.”
when wonbin finally pushed open the hospital room door, you looked up almost immediately. your face softened into the biggest smile the second you saw them standing there. “hi, my baby,” you greeted warmly. bunny didn’t answer because she couldn’t. she was too busy staring at the tiny bundle sleeping peacefully against your chest. the room was quiet except for the gentle hum of the air conditioner and warm afternoon sunlight spilled through the blinds onto the striped hospital blanket wrapped around sunshine. bunny climbed onto the bed much slower than usual before leaning over carefully to get a better look. her mouth slowly fell open. “she’s so tiny,” she whispered in complete disbelief. you smiled down at the newborn before agreeing, “she is.” bunny continued staring before quietly adding, “she’s smaller than my dolls.” you laughed softly. “she is.” bunny looked back and forth between you and the baby before asking, “is that really the baby?” you nodded. “that’s really her.” very carefully bunny reached one finger toward sunshine before stopping halfway there. she immediately looked at you instead. “can i touch her?” she asked quietly. you smiled reassuringly. “of course.” bunny still looked unsure. “what if i hurt her?” she worried. “you won’t,” you promised. bunny hesitated one last time before asking, “are you sure?” you nodded. “i promise.”
only then did bunny gently place one finger into sunshine’s tiny hand. almost immediately, sunshine’s fingers curled around it. bunny froze so completely she forgot to blink. after several long seconds she slowly looked toward wonbin. “appa,” she whispered. wonbin smiled immediately. “yeah?” bunny looked back down at their hands before saying, “she grabbed me.” wonbin nodded softly. “she did.” bunny’s voice became even quieter. “she’s holding my finger.” “she sure is.” she swallowed before looking back at you. “she knows i’m here.” tears instantly filled your eyes as you smiled at both of your daughters. “i think she does,” you answered softly. bunny looked back down at sunshine again before whispering, “she likes me.” you reached over and gently rubbed her back. “i think she’s going to love you.”
when bunny finally asked if she could hold her little sister, you and wonbin exchanged a smile before agreeing. wonbin carefully stacked pillows across bunny’s lap before explaining everything she needed to do. “keep your arms right here,” he instructed while gently moving them into place. bunny nodded seriously. “okay.” he pointed toward sunshine’s head before reminding her, “support her head.” bunny nodded again. “okay.” he looked directly into her eyes before saying, “if you get nervous, you tell me or mama right away.” bunny answered without looking away. “i will.” wonbin smiled proudly before he carefully placed the baby into her lap. your oldest daughter looked down at the sleeping baby. “hi sunshine,” she whispered with the biggest smile. “i’m your big sister.” as though she’d heard her, sunshine stretched in her sleep before nestling even closer against bunny’s chest. bunny gasped so loudly that both you and wonbin looked over. “mama,” she whispered excitedly. “yeah?” you answered. bunny looked completely amazed. “she cuddled me.” you smiled so hard your cheeks hurt. the next fifteen minutes disappeared with bunny proudly holding sunshine while you and wonbin took more pictures than either of you would probably ever need. every little thing sunshine did became the most exciting event bunny had ever witnessed. when sunshine yawned, bunny immediately looked up and excitedly asked, “did you see that?” you laughed before answering, “i saw it.” a minute later sunshine stretched one tiny arm above her head, making bunny gasp again. “she’s waving,” she announced proudly. wonbin smiled. “maybe she’s saying hi to you.” bunny immediately looked back down at her sister and whispered, “hi,” before smiling even bigger.
eventually sunshine started making tiny hungry noises, turning her little face toward you as she rooted sleepily against the blanket. wonbin leaned over beside bunny before speaking gently. “okay, bun, i think she’s getting hungry.” bunny nodded immediately. “okay.” she didn’t complain once as wonbin carefully lifted sunshine back into his arms before handing her to you. bunny watched you settle sunshine against your chest until the room became quiet again. after almost a full minute of thinking, she tilted her head thoughtfully before saying, “okay.” you looked over at her. “okay?” bunny nodded. “when are we giving her back?” she asked sincerely.
both you and wonbin blinked. “giving her back?” you repeated. bunny pointed toward sunshine like it was obvious. “is she coming home with us?” wonbin pressed his lips together, trying not to laugh, before asking gently, “bun, what do you mean?” bunny looked completely confused by the question. “well babies come from the hospital,” she explained patiently. wonbin nodded. “they do.” bunny continued, “so after we visit her when do they take her back?” bunny frowned and you couldn’t stop yourself from laughing. “baby,” you said gently through your smile, “she isn’t staying at the hospital.” bunny look at you confused. “she isn’t?” you shook your head. “no. she’s coming home with us.” bunny blinked several times. “today?” “today,” wonbin nodded. “to our house?” bunny pressed, her eyebrows furrowing. you nodded as you brushed her hair away from her forehead, “to our house.” “forever?” bunny questioned further. you smiled, "forever.”
bunny slowly looked back toward sunshine before looking at both of you again. “she’s gonna live with us?” she asked quietly. “she is. she has her own room. you helped us decorate it,” wonbin answered. bunny thought about that for several long seconds before sighing dramatically. “okay,” she finally decided. you smiled. “okay?” bunny nodded very seriously, "i guess we can keep her.” wonbin laughed so hard he had to wipe tears from the corners of his eyes while you buried your smile against sunshine’s head. bunny leaned over one last time to look at her sleeping baby sister before gently patting one tiny foot through the blanket. “but,” she added very seriously, “she’s not allowed to chew on my toys.”

just wanted to say i love your dad!riize au! i was wondering which member was the first to get married and which one was the first to have kids? love youu<3
HII !! TYSM AND THANK U FOR THE ASK.
first to get married was definitely sohee. even though him and yn technically have one of the youngest kids in the au i think that they dated for like 1 year and decided to get married. that made them one of the firsts since everyone else took time in the dating phase.
in their defense theyre childhood friends and they alr acted like a married couple long before they even started dating so they moved very fast.
the oldest kids in the series right now are bunny (wonbin), fishie (anton), and muffin+cupcake (now shotaro). theyre all 6 years old however i think ... fishie was born first but like barely since bunny was born a couple days after her.
in my mind fishie and bunny are best friends and anton and wonbin's wives are also good friends.
it all makes sense in my evil mind

okay i have a lot of anton and fishie asks. someone send me wonbin so i can be motivated to write sunshine and bunny
i liked what you wrote about anton showing baby fishie around her nursery! could you write about them setting it up? 👀
its here ! lowkey strayed from the ask but ill probably do another one sooner than later of yn earlier in her pregnancy w fishie :3 i jst wanted to write angst sorry anon
you had always been the type of person who did everything yourself - grocery bags, laundry baskets, moving apartments, climbing onto countertops instead of asking the six foot two man standing three feet away, you had always been stubbornly independent. it was one of the first things anton had noticed about you and it was also one of the first things he had fallen in love with. pregnancy had been difficult in ways neither of you expected. every passing week quietly took away another small thing you had always been able to do without thinking. by eight months, almost everything required more planning than it used to and you were starting to hate how often anton had to step in before you even admitted you needed help.
the nursery had already been finished for nearly a week. the crib was built, the dresser was organized, the little bookshelf was full of picture books, and every tiny outfit had been washed and folded away. anyone else would have walked inside, smiled, and called it perfect but you stood in the doorway one afternoon with your arms crossed and stared at the room until something about it began to bother you. after another minute you quietly muttered, “… i don’t like it,” even though you had loved it the day before. the rocking chair suddenly looked wrong in the corner. it should have been beside the window where the morning light came through and the bookshelf would look better on the opposite wall. the dresser only needed to move a few inches but once you pictured everything in different places, you could not stop thinking about it. none of the changes were necessary but that had never stopped you from rearranging a room before.
anton had gone out to pick up lunch after reminding you twice not to lift or move anything heavy while he was gone. you had kissed his cheek and promised that you would wait for him and you had meant it at the time. that promise lasted until you walked back into the nursery and stared at the rocking chair again. you rested both hands on its arms and reasoned quietly, “it’s only one chair. i’m not trying to remodel the whole house. you pulled and the chair scraped across the floor by barely an inch. pleased with yourself you smiled and murmured, “see? completely fine,” before adjusting your grip and trying again. the second pull barely moved it and the third did nothing at all. your smile slowly disappeared as you planted your feet firmly and pulled with more force, only for a sharp ache in your lower back to make you release it with an irritated breath.
you stared at the chair in disbelief and muttered, “…seriously?” before turning toward the bookshelf. you had moved that shelf yourself when you first decorated the room and you remembered sliding it across the floor without asking anyone for help. it had not seemed heavy then so you wrapped both hands around one side and pushed, expecting it to move easily. it did not move at all. you pushed harder but the bookshelf stayed exactly where it was while your feet slipped backward instead. you immediately let go and pressed one hand over your stomach to steady yourself, breathing more heavily than you wanted to admit. your back hurt, your hips ached, and your stomach suddenly felt much larger than it had only a few minutes earlier. as you looked at the shelf, you whispered, “… i used to be able to do that.”
it was not really about the bookshelf anymore. you could not carry a laundry basket downstairs without anton taking it from you halfway down. you could not pick something up from the floor without thinking about how you were going to stand again. even getting out of bed had become a whole process. every simple task that once happened automatically now required planning, waiting, or asking somebody else to do it. you hated waiting and you hated asking for help even more. your first instinct was still to handle everything yourself but lately that instinct kept ending with your body reminding you that it could not keep up. you were still the same person in your head but every day there seemed to be a new limit you had not known about until you ran straight into it.
when anton came home a few minutes later the silence upstairs caught his attention immediately. he set the food on the kitchen counter and made his way toward the nursery, stopping quietly in the doorway when he found you standing in the middle of the room. the rocking chair had moved only a couple of inches, the bookshelf had not moved at all, and you were staring at both pieces of furniture with an expression he recognized immediately. he knocked softly against the doorframe and you looked over your shoulder before greeting him with a quiet, “hi.” anton glanced around the room then gave you a small smile as he asked, “redecorating?” you shrugged weakly and admitted, “i changed my mind.” he nodded like that was completely reasonable and replied, “okay,” but his eyes stayed on your face.
you looked back toward the rocking chair and quietly said, “i couldn’t move it.” anton stayed near the doorway for another moment before answering, “i see that.” you let out a small laugh that sounded more defeated than anything and continued, “i thought maybe i was standing wrong and then i thought the floor was catching on it.” after another humorless laugh you looked down at your stomach and finished, “turns out i just can’t.” the words hit him harder than you realized. anton walked toward you slowly but before he could say anything, you asked, “do you know what the worst part is?” when he shook his head, you kept staring at the chair and admitted, “my brain still thinks i can. every single time i see something that needs to be done, i don’t even think about asking for help. i just do what i’ve always done, and then my body reminds me that i can’t.”
anton’s chest tightened as your voice began to crack. you wiped at the tears gathering in your eyes and said, “i hate it because i’ve always been independent. i don’t like needing people and i don’t like having to wait for somebody else. i don’t like looking at a chair and thinking, ‘i’ll have to ask anton when he gets home.’ that has never been me.” he closed the distance between you and gently took both of your hands before telling you, “it is still you.” when you finally looked up at him, he rested one hand over your stomach and continued softly, “you’re sharing your body with someone right now. the woman who insists on carrying every grocery bag in one trip is still here.”
a small laugh escaped you even through the tears, and anton smiled before adding, “she’ll be back, probably sooner than i’d like.” you sniffled and asked, “you think?” without hesitating he answered, “absolutely because i know you.” he brushed another tear away with his thumb and said, “you’re not upset because you couldn’t move a chair. you’re upset because for the first time in your life you can't be independent and that's okay.” you did not answer because you did not need to. the tears sliding down your cheeks already told him he was right. anton carefully wrapped his arms around you, mindful of your stomach, and held you against his chest while you finally stopped trying to hide how upset you were.
after a long moment, he kissed the top of your head and asked, “how about you stay in charge, and i’ll be the muscles for the next few weeks?” you let out a watery laugh and nodded against his chest before admitting, “i can live with that.” anton smiled into your hair and replied, “good because i have a feeling the boss is going to change her mind about this room at least three more times before our daughter gets here.”
what if i jst never update my smaus again and jst become mainly dad riize ... would we fw that ....
bunny would be clumsy jst like how wonbin describes his younger self
