how you spend the day at the aquarium with some of the jjk girls
-Fridays were date night for you and Nobara, the only problem was that the two of you had basically been to every place you could think of already. That’s why in the middle of brainstorming ideas, Nobara suggested that your next date be at the aquarium since you’ve never been together.
-When you first step foot in the aquarium, Nobara immediately grabs a map and starts planning out the itinerary for the entire trip. She wants to get the full experience and do every single thing that the aquarium offers.
-Since Nobara was brought up in the countryside, she’s definitely familiar with fish and is not really scared of them in the slightest. In fact, she was actually looking forward to coming here with you to see all the other different sea creatures.
-Somehow you and Nobara would come across a scavenger hunt and would end up having a competition to see how many fish the two of you can find.
-You end up winning of course, but Nobara insists that you cheated and calls for a rematch.
-Nobara likes to trace her finger against the glass for the fish to follow and calls your name excitedly so you can come look at all the ones that have gathered.
-Would definitely be brave enough to cross the shark bridge and drag you along with her.
-She really likes to do those interactive thingies where you wear 3-D glasses and It basically feels as If you’re right next to the animals.
-She thinks that the penguins are the absolute cutest. And once her eyes catch sight of the baby sliding to where it’s mom and dad are, she smiles at the thought of you and her creating your own little family one day.
-Maki has a busy schedule most of the time, so the fact that you guys were even able to coordinate this date was already a score.
-She picks you up in a sweater and blue jeans because she wanted to be prepared just in case the aquarium was too cold, but you couldn’t really pay attention to her words since you were literally swooning at how great she looks in casual clothes.
-Maki actually reads the descriptions of each animal you’re visiting and listens to the tour guide intently. Maki may not seem like It, but she really loves learning about this and these creatures were actually intriguing to her.
-Gets annoyed super fast that you have to stand in long lines to see the attractions but doesn’t complain too much since It gives you more time to just talk with each other.
-Really likes the jellyfish exhibit because she thinks that they’re so graceful and pretty.
-She would be okay with you dragging her around to look at different things because she thinks It’s adorable how excited you are.
-You and Maki end the night with your feet absolutely killing the both of you from all the walking you did, but Maki isn’t too bothered by the pain since she got to spend the whole day with you.
-Mai was not particularly jumping at the thought of going to an aquarium because the last thing she wanted to do was surround herself with stinky sea creatures, but once you persuaded her that this trip might actually be fun, she finally gave in.
-She would walk next to you with her arms crossed as her eyes would graze across the clear glass, not really wanting to admit to herself that these animals were kind of intriguing.
-She would be the type to get startled by a creature if they bumped their head against the glass or came too close to her and you’d have to hold your laugh in at how she would try to play it off.
-She would continue to have an annoyed look as you walk around the exhibits but once she sees that you were actually enjoying yourself, she would gradually drop her façade and start to show a little more interest.
-Once she relaxes, she thinks that the baby sea turtles are so cute and bends down to look at them with a small smile on her face.
-Definitely makes the children clear the area so the two of you can play in the kids section.
-Would not want to touch the animals at first, but she finds herself still rolling up her sleeves to touch the starfish with you, you not missing the giggle that came from her mouth once she did it.
-“It was fun… I guess.” She’d say as the two of you walked outside the building and you’d have to nudge her shoulder before she’d finally burst out laughing and confess that she had a good time.
-Miwa is super excited about this, maybe even more than you are.
-She thinks that every animal is adorable and can not get enough of them. You literally have to stop her from running all over the place because she’s so eager to see everything.
-Would be the type to sulk If an exhibit was closed because she really got her hopes up.
-Would also be the type to drag you to the gift shop and buy tons of souvenirs. She would have a squid hat on her head, a T-Shirt full of the sea animals, a stuffed seahorse in her arms, and whatever else she could get her hands on. You’d have to laugh at how silly your girlfriend looks, but also think to yourself how cute her enthusiasm is.
-She’s constantly taking selfies and videos of everything you guys are seeing. She wants to savor the moment and get as many memories as she can before you guys leave. Would eventually end up running out of storage and somehow getting a hold of your phone as well.
-Is on the edge of her seat as she watches the Dolphin shows with you. You can literally see her melt beside you as she watches the Dolphin jump out the water so majestically.
-Her eyes literally widen once you get to the Dome part of the aquarium. It’s absolutely breathtaking for her and at some point she would glance over at you and you would feel her gaze and end up turning your head and smiling back at her. Miwa honestly can’t think of a better person to share this view with.
