First AF!!

If I was somewhat good at anatomy they’d be going at it by now

December 24th 1926

Deep within the pack ice at 74 degrees south latitude lies a ship that will never set sail again.

The men aboard the ship died winters ago. In the galley, inside a cast iron pot where food use to cook, sits the boiled leg of some unfortunate sailor. On the deck, frozen corpses lie stiff in their faded uniforms. And the last entry of the ship's log stopped on Christmas Eve of 19⬛️⬛️

The men were gone, but something crawled up from the black waters of the frozen sea.

It was a curious beast.

And from the day on, the beast decided it was a man. It squeezed its blubbery body into a the dead captain's uniform. It learned the shapes of men, from the language to the arts, and... lining up silver spoons on the kitchen table where the hungry sailors ate the dead.

Despite all that, some habits of cannot be unlearned, the beast could not resist the temptations of a bloody, raw penguin.

They say if you tune your ship's radio right enough, you will hear an odd, slightly unsettling voice, trying its best to be polite, and it called itself Captain.
