i cant talk right now, i have a twenty hour shift at the puppy-kicking factory and i take my work very seriously. also i cannot write an email and do not understand context or human emotion outside of my extremely narrow lens that has been warped by the myriad of kicked puppies

I enjoyed TADC, I think it would have definitely grabbed my brain directly if I had seen it ten or so years earlier, with regards to what it had to say. I'm not nearly as self-loathing these days, even on bad ones, so it's interesting to look at a work and realize it would have been a boon, had I seen it earlier. I really enjoyed all of the characters, and the animation was a delight, to boot. Really, the humor and heart is what sells it for me.

I viewed Jax as more a cautionary tale, a sign that it's not too late for YOU to change, because you're in control of yourself, and you're here. You can open yourself to others, and shoving them away by default will only serve to hurt everyone involved. "If you're seeing this, it's not too late to try or to change." That's what I got out of it.
