Hi! I was wondering if there's any way to get rid of tumble weeds when they suddenly roll into town. There's nothing to do with them in my missions tab so maybe not?
There isn't, but they don't really do anything, so they'll go away on their own.

I found a very weird glitch today while I was out hunting for my missing license plates.
I'm not sure what caused if but here's what my favorite painting turned into
For context it's supposed to look like this:
Pyramid in the desert
Last time, I posted about the "wiggling chest". Today I'm posting about the pyramid. You're told to find it in the desert "when the moon is high" but when exactly is that? well let's find out!
Certainly not 6:55pm that's for sure.
7pm, there we go, now we know.
"moving chest" mission
I've been re-doing the story, again, and I came across this situation: Frankie Fusilli gives you a mission to bury a "moving chest" in the desert at night but the game doesn't give you a specific hour. Jimmy "the Neck" keeps you from accessing the desert, which makes some missions (like stolen furniture) impossible to do.
So when exactly IS night? When I was little, I thought it was when the night time music starts playing.
Today, I played all afternoon, and noticed this: the night time music started playing around 6pm in my game, I went to the desert and still couldn't go. I tried again at 7pm on the dot, still couldn't go. I was let into the desert at 7:02pm. So there you have it, "at night" means 7:02 pm apparently.
hiii do you know how to complete the missing cellphone task for guest??
Hello there,
The missing cell phone task is the same task as missing furniture, just much harder because the cell phone is 3 pixels big.
In my experience, it can either be in the desert, on the same spot you'd find furniture, on the left of the hotel behind the bush, or behind the place with the cows. So far I've never had a phone that wasn't in these places.

Hi! Have you figured out how to unlock Mama Hog’s and Ava’s outfits? I unlocked Ava’s right after finishing the game, but I can’t seem to unlock Mama’s. I KNOW it’s unlockable, I unlocked it ages ago on a very old save, and can’t seem to replicate it!
Hello, sorry for the massive delay, I somehow never ended up getting notified, I need to figure out how to fix that.
I unfortunately haven't been able to figure out how to unlock it. My theory is that you're supposed to unlock it by unlocking MamaHogg's secret (by being best friends with her).
Which aspiration did you choose? Depending on your aspiration, friendships are faster to level up.
Hi!! I found your blog after looking online for some advice. I started playing The Sims 2 yesterday and I built a bunch of new rooms on a very short time, fast-forwarding the time on the dsi. I guess something went wrong because, even though all the other rooms are now complete, the art gallery still isn't. A day has passed and nothing has changed yet, I fear it's some kind of bug. Can you help me?
Hi! So sorry, I never got notified of your question!
Time travel can be a little tricky in this game, it actively punishes you by causing alien invasions. It sounds to me like a bug, a bug I unfortunately have never experienced myself.
Have you had any luck with the gallery since?
Sorry guys this isn't the post you were hoping for, I just wanted to thank all of you for the attention I've received, I've had it rough these past few months and I wasn't expecting to see so many nice things coming back to my blog, thank you all for the follows, thank you for the likes, thanks for the reblog too, you guys are really epic. I'll try to post an actual article today if the odds let me, but it was important to let you know that I do see you and appreciate you all!
Mummy Sarcophagus
Hello everyone, I'll be honest today was a harsh day so it wasn't entirely practical for me to post anything... However, I've let you guys down already and I want to make an effort for your sake, so today I will post about an object that can get rather frustrating: the Mummy Sarcophagus.
The Mice Mission
Oh no!!! The Hotel is infested by mice! This mission is the single most researched mission about the game on the internet, and the mission we find the most misinformation about, making it objectively the hardest mission in the game outside of the main story line.

Grim Reaper
Hello everyone! Today's post topic was actually requested by my friend, he's a big fan of the Grim Reaper in every Sims game and asked me to make a post on the peculiar Grim Reaper we have in The Sims 2 DS!
Dust Piles
Hello everyone, it's me again! To make up for my absence I decided to post not one, but two posts today. Today since my hotel is especially dirty, I'll be talking about Dust Piles!
As you can see, there are grey little objects on the floor, those are Dust Piles. They're one of the first objects you interact with in this game, but I still thought they were worth bringing up. During one of the main quests, you are told you need to clean the hotel.
Small Unplanned Hiatus
Hello everyone! There are sometimes moments in everybody's life where they have plans and things to do but life just happens and gets in the way. The past few days have been that kind of moment to me, unfortunate timing, I know.
When these moments happen, sometimes games lecture you for your absence. The Sims 2 DS is one of these games. So you got busy and didn't play the game for a few days... Or weeks... and when that happens here's how the game handles it:
Paintings
Hello everyone, today I thought I'd bring up painting in The Sims 2 DS.
In The Sims 2 DS you can build a room called the Art Gallery, which allows you to make and sell paintings, fun right? I for one think it's pretty neat, but here are a few things you should know:
Treasure Chest Goal
Hello everyone! Today I got a random goal that a lot of people screech in frustration about, and I thought I would share some information, and myths I found on the matter while I was researching it online.

Debunking some myths
Hello, welcome to my blog! I'm Vinny, and I decided to share some truths about an easily forgotten gem of a Sims game from my childhood that I keep going back to fondly: The Sims 2 DS. (if you don't know about it I suggest you check my "About The Game" page ;))
Now, I'm writing this late at night, and I don't have the strength (or the save for that matter) to discuss much about the story and the most common bugs and problems players run into, so instead, I'll debunk a few common myths I've come across on my quest to find some help on this game.
