When in the Champagne region, one must drink champagne. And so we did 🍾🍾. After a stop at Taittinger for a wine tour of the cellars, we stopped at a few local french champagne producers to try some of the best champagne I've ever tasted. The quality was bar none and so unique.

My third trip to Paris and the best one yet. My parents flew out for my 21st birthday and met me in Paris. We went on the ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower to drink champagne in celebration of my birthday. With views of the whole city, in the presence of my parents and champagne, it made a day to never forget.
(2/2) Provence region.
(1/2) A program trip down to the Provence region journeyed us around an assortment of French villages and towns. From Arles to the Pope's palace in Provence to the famous Roman aqueducs. It was all more surprising than I thought it'd be. I'm always excited to explore and especially around southern France. But this journey exceeded my expectations. Avignon was my favorite city of the trek. I now see why my parents want to retire there.
My first football match I went to this semester (who knows how many I've been to in my life). What made this one more special than the other matches, is the friends I've made this semester all enthusiastically went on this trip to the Allianz Riviera. We amassed to about 16-17 people at the match. As an active football fan, I knew this game for OGC Nice was big if they wanted any chance of keeping up with Monaco; who were in first place. However a 2-2 draw with Caen kept them even more adrift off the top of the table.
What a weekend in Barcelona. Of all the European cities I've been to, this was the one I walked the most in (37 miles in four days!). I arrived the earliest of our group of 13, so I spent five hours on Thursday afternoon roaming the city. But shortly after my friends arrived the weekend got even better. Paul and my first meal in the city was some ramen at a place called "ramen shop" (who would've thought). The next day (3/3), we made the trek to Park Güell to see the entire city from a hilltop. We roamed around the area a bit more until the abroadfest attendees had to split off to head to the venue. Gronkowski was there by the way. Clubbing followed that night as well. Saturday was a day I will always remember. We met with my friend Carlos who is a Barcelona native, but I hadn't seen him since my first year of college. He walked us around acting as a pseudo tour guide and we finished with a pint of beer. Then around 1:15am we went to Shôko for the final abroadfest event. The highlight of the trip came at 2:15am when one of my favorite groups, Cheat Codes, did a set to remember for a lifetime.

A four hour walking tour took us around what seemed to be like an endless amount of history. World War II history has always fascinated me and there I was in Berlin, right where it all happened. Food, beer and an awakening feeling is how I would describe this day. This awakening feeling came when our tour guide showed us a picture of Adolf Hitler giving a speech on famous steps, and we were standing right there on the same steps. Goosebumps.
(Post 2/2 day 1 Berlin) We ended our tour of Berlin with the East Side Gallery. Large murals covered pieces of the Berlin Wall carrying heavy and significant meaning. I'm usually not a fan of art galleries, but I felt so engaged with what seemed to be like living history.
