For someone who tends to pour into people choosing myself has been such an uncomfortable feeling for me because I know what choosing myself comes with & one of those things are being alone. As someone who’s already a loner being alone is one thing but feeling loneliness is another. I’m finding my way back to finding joy in my solitude in a healthier way because before it was simply isolation from the fear of having not the choice to be alone. I’m also learning that no one is coming to save me. Don’t get me wrong this is something I I’ve known my whole life but getting older I’m understanding that these are things I’m going to have to repeat to myself so that they don’t stay constant lessons.
