Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it. And Alastair.

I wanted to ask about the Blackthorn sword since i love swords but we don't see it in TDA. is it broken or lost? or just not used by any of the blackthorn kids in TDA since they have their own preferred weapons? Hope you stay safe and thank u for COI!
Keeping this unspoilery, so I'm just going to say — we will find out why we don't see the Blackthorn sword in the present day!

Also, i wanted to ask if every TLH character who’s alive by the end of chain of thorns will have an endgame?
I hope so! I'd still like to write it, the short story collections usually require schedule alignments with my collaborators, but I know we're all down for it.
I would say all the TLH characters will have a resolved story arc by the end of the series.

You know, I never know myself until people read it, how painful they will find events/endings. I can only guess!

I would say yes, considering the time spent in Paris in TMI — though obviously London is pretty popular too. In TLH, Paris is a symbol as much as a place. It symbolizes freedom from restrictions, a place where people can be more authentically themselves, leaving their pasts behind — especially for Matthew and Anna, as Paris was a haven for queer folks, especially artists, in 1903.

) I want to inform you that I have commissioned and hung a tapestry of Matthew by my bed. It's larger than I am. My new cat, James (black w gold eyes), loves it. Just so you know how MUCH I love Matthew. 😝
I'll tell Matthew — he'll be pleased. ;)
