Now, these are not your usual tips for studying. I’m not here to tell you to make flashcards and copy your notes, although I do recommend those alternatives. I want to offer you my best and most original ideas that I use to pass all of my classes. Every method I am about to present to you has put to the test, and not only have they all passed, but so have I!

The fact of the matter is, sometimes you sit through a whole class only to realize that you don't understand anything you learned when you try to do the homework. If you are unsure of the material and have tried seeking help from your teacher, youtube is literally a life saver. Look up the concept(s) from class that you went over and let the information absorb in. I also recommend taking notes on the video and trying the example problems that are presented.

Printing Out Practice Sheets From Google

Alright, you have watched countless youtube videos and managed to grasp the information for the class. The test is in two days, but you don’t know how to study. For most subjects, with the exception of a few depending on the material, you can search Google for practice worksheets. These are a great tool for reinforcing information. Start slow and even use your notes to guide you throughout the problems. Then, once you feel confident, put away your notes and treat it as a test. Something I find helpful to do is timing myself for a certain amount on problems to make sure I will be able to finish the actual test in the given time period during class.
