#off topic #the head and the heart #thath #tonight was incredible i have no words #ha fooled you i have gobs of words #their opening band got detained at the border #so they opened for themselves with an acoustic mini set (!!!!)#which included library magic and your mother's eyes and harvest moon (!!!)#the mini set was just jon charity and matty for ~30 mins #then intermission then they did a full band set for ~90 mins or more #which included don't dream it's over and ever since/chasing a ghost (!!!)#and jon said there must be ghosts in massey hall 'cause that's the best they've ever sung that song #which i believe bc wowsers it was amazing #and i can't even remember now what the first encore song was #but the whole show was amazing and ofc they ended with rivers and roads #so yes if you ever get the chance to see them - go go go #music rec #random rec #protip #goodnight
