And no, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against JohnJane shippers or the interpretations where both characters are being potrayed as marred/dating, I do respect the shippers and that version, after all we have different opinions and taste in things. But, my problem is more with the whole ship. No offense to anyone, it's just feels so off to me...And I'm not really fan of it.

Honestly, as many people would point out, seeing the characters who have been seen and potrayed as siblings for years in Roblox Myth community as couple in other media(Such as Forsaken and Doomed by Fate) is just so weird for me to see(i have the same problem with Adminvirus/1xshed)

Obviously, I do know that actual John doe and Jane doe are just some Roblox test accounts. Not to mention that i still prefer seeing these two interpretated as siblings rather than some married-..Maybe,it's just me, Idk, the JohnJane is just not my cup of tea.

Recently, there was an announcement made that Corrupted Elliot isn't allowed to be shipped with anyone. Java's reasoning is that he's a corpse

Maybe I'm missing fundamental common sense, but I do not get the logic behind this

Jane x Guest 666 is allowed even if Jane's a survivor and G666 is a killer who's obviously trying to murder her and her fellow survivors

Apparently Bloxwatch ships are allowed too because the devs have made no statememt regarding them, even if they're some kind of incomprehensible collective of conciousnesses according to the lore

Is it because Elliot's brain rotted, therefore he isn't able to consciously make decisions and has no sapience to consent? Well damn, that's how TRUD John Doe was written in the old version of the lore. And he was shipped

My point is: there are other morally dubious ships out there that are being allowed, why does it matter that Elliot's a corpse? What is the definition of a corpse in TRUD? There's not enough (available) lore to make this make sense

Not related to my main arguments but I dislike how Java handled a question regarding this

I scoured the discord trying to look for some possible explanation and found this convo. I can't post images on tumblr so here's a word-by-word transcript:

The reason why I don't like how Java responded is because:

1. "do research"? The research, along with lore, is buried under hundreds of general messages. The reasoning wasn't added to the rules nor was it announced. All that was announced in the annc channel was: "Any ship that includes Corrupted Elliot."

I'm personally not a fan of following rules I don't understand the logic behind

2. How she answered the question made it sound like this information is readily accessible, or that it's common sense

Sometimes there decisions just don't make sense

Its not the writers fault for being busy. Its not the devs fault for it not being the main focus. Tho man is it hard when story is what youre here for, when you dont engage with the discord community, and when theres a threat of whats canon being blown to smithereens. Throw them fanfic authors a bone here brother

The reason for Shedletsky is because last time I trusted one to revive me, a Jane corrupted — that was in front of me — began following him, and that caused him to turn back and leave me for dead (He was at 100 hp)

No trips to return. No juking. No Windforce. Nothing. He just left me to DIE.

So now I'm just a bit cautious around them since this seems to be a common occurrence for me

funny stuff in a recent server im in, theres a builderman player who placed a lot of alarm mines which is too much i would say (which can be compared to that one video about a server full of taphs putting a lot of tripmines in f*rsaken except its only one player)
