At first appears the Arena seemed to be based off a pre-Panem era city called New York City but after the bloodbath had ensued and camera angles changed, more of the Arena was revealed. It seemed to be based of pre-Panem era holidays from what Andromache could tell. What was the implication? All most all in the Districts wouldnât understand the reference and many in the Capitol wouldnât. So who was the message aimed at? Those that seek to return times before the Games?Â
Andromache would have to ponder it further later because she noticed a familiar face walk into the Tower lobby bar. âTrixie, thatâs unfortunate about your Tribute. She had looked promising.â Andromache reached into her satchel and produced Tupperware. âLemon poppyseed scone?â She offered before continuing âThat girl from Twelve is some feral thing, isnât she?â

Her tribute was already dead and at Ravenâs hands. The conflicted feeling in her chest was exactly why she didnât try to help other tributes - let alone those from Twelve. Too many mixed emotions - her tribute was dead and that was enough of an issue, but her tribute was dead at the hands of a tribute she had helped, so even more guilt, but at the same time - KyAnneâs tribute had made it out of the arena alive. And then to top it all off, her nanny had called in the middle of the day, something about Valkaryie being sick and the worry piled on top of everything else had sent Trixie down to the bar in search of something that might help dull the conglomerating emotions.Â
Spotting Andromache, Trixie sidled up to the bar beside her one-time friend. âWhiskey, neat.â She murmured to the bartender before acknowledging Andy. âTwelve does have a certain knack for a will to live.â She shrugged as if she werenât irate at the notion of what had transpired. She reached to take a scone. âAlways baking.â She commented, attention quickly wavering to the bartender as he sat a glass before her. âWillow made it though.â
