Sporp needing to reach something that’s high up and getting ready to jump or climb or kick-flip for it because that’s how he do but Robbie, who is, that day, at a very special level of done-with-Sportaflop can’t stand the idea of any more jumps or flips so naturally he just grabs Sporp before he can jump and picks him up like he’s Simba and Sporp.exe immediately experiences a critical processing error he’s so shocked he just kind of hangs there in dumb elf-confusion ‘wha-’ when it catches up to him that Robbie just picked him up Sporp.exe completely crashes and has to restart and at this point he still hasn’t even grabbed the thing he was trying to reach so Robbie eye-rolls and shakes him a bit like ‘come on seriously’

me: what if Sport’s airship gives him all those prompts, not just for daily routine things like when to sleep and when to brush teeth and so on, but also random challenges, is because after years of working in the mines and being told what to do all day he still feels he needs that sort of structure and designed the airship accordingly but with the freedom to do as he wishes as well, and with a kind voice instead of an overseer’s

Yeah! He seemed to be ignoring it until he realized the kids were concerned, and then his immediate response was that he “must need to practice more”, not even considering that there might be something else going on that wasn’t a him problem.
