Triple Stations

Isabelle gave me a rubber mallet and told me to walk around town with my eyes closed and hit things randomly. She needed data for a sturdiness report that is obligatory if you want to invite tourists to town. There's this huge magazine called "Sturdy Stars of our Universe" and she said we needed to rise in rank as Tortimer always slacked off and never made it past place 2947. I delivered my findings and was so sorry that I accidentally hit Camofrog! My eyes were closed! He was pretty sturdy though so I hope we can rank better and get a bit of promo soon.

Actually I only ended up fetching him some fruit 

Rover's collaborating on some new theme park. He's even selling t-shirts.

Isabelle said, we had to pay exhibitors -- and I spent every last bell on Pate's taxi, as you know. So I'm mostly trying hard to pretend this part of town doesn't exist. It's just too sad otherwise.

We're enhancing evening scenery by quilting more stars into the sky. 

Perfect make-up that makes her look grown-up but also cute. Formal but neat choice in clothes. Friendly, but not too welcoming. Had a career but ended up in a rather small lonely town. Labelle is a snooty!

This week’s challenge — “Kiddie Forest”

Sorry for the wait but we’ve finally put together our first review. 

User cupkatekitty has asked us to give some feedback for her dream town of Sweets. The DC is 7100-4378-2708.

This is our first request so the format is subject to change but we hope this is useful.

Suggestions: It’s a matter of personal taste so take these points with a grain of salt. 

Too many presents at the plaza. Perhaps spread them out? Perhaps not wrap up the clothes but only the interactive gifts? And add a lolly there, it's nice being greeted by lollies like at the train station.

Consider single tile path for those sections where the main path is cut in half. Makes things neater and possibly (depending on choice) add more texture and personality.

Remix flower groupings. To maintain the overall look of the town faded/washed out looking flowers (red lilies, yellow violets) should be mixed more with brighter flowers to give balance. Avoid large blocks of faded flowers next to each other unless it’s done with a purpose I guess

Some areas with flowers were a bit overwhelming, as in too many different flowers of too many different colours. Maybe try going with less intense mixes and focus on two or three types of flowers (you had such areas, they looked great!), or maybe replace some flowers with clovers. I would also suggest mixing up the colour-sorted flower rows, they come across as very rigid whereas your town is really playful.

Your beach looked as if you were breeding flowers there? There's nothing wrong with that, but you could actually add some sweets themed stuff there? I think it would look great to find chunks of chocolate on the beach, or lollies as you had around the train station.

What we liked:

I love the placement of the arches and the zen bell. The town hall area would be the place where I spent most of my time at! The town gives me a very happy-summery optimistic feeling. :D (Also a big endorser of players who leave tons of small gifts around for dreamers!) - Mayor Min

I’ve gushed about this town on my own before but really I still love how Sweets is cut into sections. It makes the town seem bigger than most because there’s always something interesting to look at. Also, it is very interactive! Mayor Alyosha

Your town is very colourful (sometimes too colourful for me, but I'm more the minimal type so don't mind me) and stunningly full and nice to explore, also with the themed gifts you spread out. I loved the houses (exterior and interior) a lot, they were really great! As was the weather. Mayor Mikusch

Some impressions from Sweets:

My mayor is gravely concern of the items piling up along the beach, Momo promises to clean it up as most of the items are going into her home but it has been weeks. Isabelle isn't very happy about it but she adores Momo so the job is left to the mayor.

My house exploded ._. It took hours to clean up. And I cheated and hid some stuff behind the house.

I planned to clean up the beach but Camellia hosted a special event earlier and no one wants to help with the extra trash.

We'll just mask the mess with sparkles until later. 

Meet two of Noctuary's residents, Jiji and Momo! Jiji is a rather homely witch who barely sleeps and Momo is a rather shy deliverer who thinks a lot of others and loves to hoard.

Ansa moved to Duckyeah a while ago but no one really knows what she's doing here. This is what Isabelle told me: She usually keeps to herself, stays in her tent all day eating chocolate -- and the only resident she talks to is her pet roach. Isabelle's also seen her flirt with Joan and later dragging baskets over baskets of turnips on to the train (which caused massive delays; and sometimes the trains just drive through now and won't even stop in Duckyeah because of that).

Atsushi’s shy and nervous unless out in the water or helping out with housework. He dislikes things like having his picture taken.

Penélope’s an extrovert and likes to throw herself into school activities. She especially likes sports.

Neither particularly like the mayor (  ó㉨ò)
