Ul had comforted his sick mother for a while before he left her to rest. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking down the hall to his sister's room to see what she was up to. Rubbing the back of his neck, he approached her door and then knocked on the surface. "Fujiko...? Uh... do you want to hang out with me?" he called out, unsure of how to ask.
Fujiko had only met her younger brother from the future once, and did not think sheâd see him again until now. Unfortunately for Fujiko, she had felt rather lonely when Snow hadnât come along to spend time with her, so the girl was left in her room, drawing whatever she could until she heard a knock on her door, which she hurriedly opened just to be welcomed by Ul. âAh, Ul!â she exclaimed, grinning. âOf course, we can!â
âI ought to go ask Papa to have a match with you sometime~â she said, adding it to her list of things to do to False. Fujiko felt a little annoyed that her adoptive father was not spending as much time as she hoped he would with his family, but she could understand that he was too busy with his own experiments. âSee~â she only said, grinning and pointing at the Jenga set. âI picked out something we can all play together!â Fujiko followed Ul to the register, waiting for him to pay before she was handed her bag. âHey, are you trying to tease me or something?â asked Fujiko, pouting a little and cursing herself for not being able to age like Ul could, though this made her wonder if Ul would eventually stop ageing at a certain point.
âOoh, can we go out for Ramen? Or sushi?â
âHey, youâre my sister... isnât that what siblings do?â he chuckled, ruffling her hair a bit. Ul was only poking fun as he wanted to see Fujiko happy. But he was also happy that Fujiko was willing to ask False for a match. It seemed as of late that the man wasnât around as much and it worried him that this would end up like the future. âThis Jenga set is amazing. Iâm not going to lose.â he declared, walking out of the store with his sister. His stomach was hungry for Ramen and he knew the perfect place. âRamen, it is.â he nodded, heading off to the ramen shop. Arriving to a familiar place, Ul walked in and waved to the old man. âLong time, no see! False says hi!â he said to him as they took a seat. The old man grinned and wave to both children.
âWhat do you want, Fujiko? Donât hold back.â
