this is an oc who kind of exists in a flexible setting? the general nature of the universe he’s loosely based in is vaguely... inspired by things like ‘supernatural’ and ‘hellblazer’? where there tend to be massive, thriving magical/cryptid/monster communities?

he’s considered a specialist/consultant (of sorts) and gets sought out for help re: magic, the occult, the supernatural, and related (sometimes distantly) matters?

he kind of has a reputation for knowing things no one else does and getting people out of tight and/or impossible spots — for being reliable? not really. it’s not a given that someone will be able to track him down, or that he’ll help, even if they do. he doesn’t always expect payment, but when he wants something in return, his deals are all bartering and eldritch ‘bargains’ and ambiguous “”favors””.

This is Frankie, though. It’s different with Frankie, so different that the usual contemplations and calculations never even enter his mind. Flicking a sprig of sage into her drink, Crow turns to slide the glass across the tabletop, rolls his shoulders, then props his forearms on the back of his chair and raises his brows. His nod is almost imperceptible.
