i actually have a lot of very cool post ideas, but because it is not october yet, i feel obligated to keep them in the queue like this very post.

bought some ribbon for crafts... halloween crafts.

i would love it if we had an equivalent of theholidayafterhalloween in july but for halloween. and not summerween, because thats too summery. i want the witches out in june, the queers would love it, i think. start selling pumpkins early (the fake kind, im not sure how long pumpkins actually last)

when it comes to halloween (then and ONLY then), id say im American at heart. the second everyone on the internet stops yapping about the fourth of july (this year actually WHILE they were still yapping about it), i get struck with a vision telling me to go crazy about halloween, like so many Americans who are currently running to spirit halloween and bath&bodyworks or whatever.

And like said Americans, i love decorating for the holiday. i am the one convincing my halloween-nonchalant family to put up decorations that aren't just inside my room and its working. i am the one who would love to buy a giant animatronic spider to put on top of my house like that one building in The Curse Of Bridge Hollow. I am the one wearing fully halloween-themed outfits to school during october.

Unfortunately:

My country doesn't put out the halloween shit until mid-September.

I am watching the Americans decorate before summer even ends and all i can do is wish for a universe where i could do the same. this bothers me. a lot. but i can't do much about it.
