Prototype #1

It's been quite a while since we last wrote here! But we have been very busy with Christmas presents and last-hour orders... Now it's time to start preparing new products and surprises, and to tell some of the last news at Trick and Thread Headquarters.

First of all, many friends just know it, but María jumped to the other side of the pond and now is living in Mexico DF! So far, she has managed to get a sewing machine, found some beautiful fabrics and started new projects... she'll show you some of her new creations soon ;)

December brought us some challenging requests. For starters, we had to make many Wanderer's journals... and when I say many, I say MANY!

And we had as well some customized orders. What about a satchel bag wide enough to fit a pro Canon DSLR? Done!

Or a gorgeous leather belt for one of our best customers ;)

If you liked our leather clutch, you will love the mini version. As did its first buyer, Cristina. In fact, she is so happy with her new bag, that she allowed us to take some pictures for our etsy shop.

And it was indeed a fun shooting time!

And this is the answer... we set our photo shoot in one of our favourite places, Santa Cristina de Ribas de Sil Monastery, a half ruined, magical place...

As if it were a sign of hope in uncertain times, these candles are placed in a small patio hidden in Kazimierz, the Old jewish quarter of Cracow. The same courtyard where, some years ago, some scenes of Schindler's List were shot.
