Just a few of the Sanders' clan's grands and great grands over the Thanksgiving holiday at my mama's house.

I am not surprised but still deeply saddened. I have served on the grand jury and this is not how Mike Browns death should have been handled. You are presented the facts and in a matter of minutes (maybe an hour for this one). You decide if it should go to trial. Really! A child is dead.... And his life is not important enough to go to trial. I must pull the race card. New tricks...

On Negroes having the right to vote. This happened not too long ago.,,, @ctr4chr thank you for remembering. You are doing a great job!!

Wanted to make sure you guys know where to go when you arrive @ctr4chr. It's stunning inside out. I will leave you with one more post when I get out of here. Not sure which one it will be.

Please understand that the freedom riders who fought for the freedom of Blacks were as young as 18. Many were. And they were Black, White, women and men.

I decided to visit @ctr4chr the Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta today. Walking around I am overcome with a number of emotions but this large image of Emmett Till and his mother brought me to tears. He was killed in 1955 at the age of 14 and still our black boys are being killed via modern day lynching today, because they can. Almost 60 years later I wonder When will it all stop? When will out sons be treated as human beings?? When will they be safe to really live freely, as a whole, in the United States of America.
