Unexpected Encounter || Paintball Fury || trembling-cute & zenten-no-ohime
She had taken on a solo mission, wanting to prove herself to a family who already knew of her worth. Yet the maiden was not one who would accept it so easily, after the embarrassing defeats not too long ago. Instead of allowing herself to wallow in misery, the blonde had mustered her courage and determination, peering at the mission board for ages before she pried parchment from it, apologizing to her long-time partner for ‘abandoning’ him. There was much experience that she would garner from going solo, and the Celestial Mage was careful not to bite off more than she could swallow, having carefully analyzing the various choices and her capabilities.
To fail a mission meant far more than pride to her, for she carried the mark of Fairy Tail upon her hand and to be perfectly honest, the young mage was tired of being seen as no more than the aesthetic appeal. Yet perhaps nothing prepared the female for a situation that threw her into a world she could not comprehend, one that was as different from hers as Edolas was. Was it an alternate universe? That was the question that ran through the stellar mage’s mind the instant she had regained her bearings, honey oculars gazing upon everything in sight as she attempted to absorb the differences and changes in her environment. It took a while, for the woman felt like Natsu in regards to transportation, even though she took a longer period of time for her to recover. Hands wrapped around her waist as she sought to keep the nausea away and prevent herself from emptying stomach onto the pavement, Lucy barely noticed the male that came her way, the collision causing her to fall backwards onto the concrete pavement, scraping the skin of palms as she broke her fall. Groaning at the pain of such, she barely acknowledged the apologies from the ‘culprit’, instead brushing the dirt off the wound gingerly, before she climbed to her feet once more, dusting dust off her sore bottom. Curious gaze would fix upon the male in question, before an almost exasperated sigh would escape her, followed by the kind smile the woman was known for. "It’s alright. I’m fine, you don’t have to apologize that much."
But it really wasn’t her day, was it?
From all the times he's talked to girls he always seemed to mess up. Just mess up and make a idiot of himself seemed to be in his nature and with a girl it seemed like talking to someone in another language like English, meaning it was harder than doing math homework. It was just not in for him to talk to females but the coach as she wasn't like the rest of the girls that he seemed to have talked to in the past. Now the girl in front of him seemed to be somewhat like other girls.
Sadly this time the thing he messed up with was falling on the girl. Not falling in love with her but actually falling on the girl like the idiot he was.
Getting up from the floor he wiped his hands that he's used to not hit face front to the floor.
"Erm you sure?"
Kouki looked worried at the other for a moment and nervous. Right this moment he was shaking in fear that he actually fell on a girl and now the days was going to be worse as he felt bad for doing so.
"Oh my manners erm names um F-Furhata K-Kouki and ah sorry about falling on you I didn't see where I was going!"
Probably because of this accident he was sure to look at where he was going since he was not going to make another embarrassment moment of himself.
Looking around he saw that the painball building was closer now and to find his escape of talking more with the stranger he said. "Well um sorry I erm going now to the Paint War.."
Suddenly shaking less from the moment he was talking since he knew that he'll most likely be finished talking to the girl when he'll go to the building.
