Pairing: Phil Lester/Dan Howell

Summary: Piano teacher Dan Howell has a crush on a pretty co-worker that he wants to impress, and when he finds out she’s a dancer, he figures it can’t hurt to take dance lessons. But when he gets to the studio to meet his instructor, things don’t go quite the way he planned.

A/N: Finally, the long awaited ballroom dancing fic. Big thanks to my beta, Niamh (and to my unofficial beta, Michelle, because I can’t keep anything a secret from her), and a huge shout out to Carolyn, my artist, who did the most beautiful artwork for this fic! This has been an enormous undertaking for me, because I’m always so busy, but everything worked out okay in the end. I was going to drop out, but decided against it, because I am stubborn. But because of time constraints and my extremely full schedule, this fic was cut very short and is not nearly as long as I was anticipating; this can be read as a full and complete story, just as the guidelines dictate, but there will be a sequel. This was also really personal for me in a lot of ways, and I’m so glad I got to do this and share it with all of you. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.
