Techno-Robot Hotel!
Would you imagine if you went to a hotel where you are being attended by a robot?
I most definite do!
A new trend has come to Japan at the Henn-na hotel in Nagasaki, as we know Japan is really advanced in technology which is awesome because you can say they live in the future where everything is robotised. A hotel where robots are attending you 24-7 without any mistakes. If you ask me it sounds awesome, having a toy-sized robot, one a humanoid robot made to resemble a Japanese woman, and the other a dinosaur robot. In the "Strange Hotel," guests are encouraged to enjoy conversation with a robot as humanly kind of warmth while they work efficiently".
An English-speaking receptionist is a vicious-looking dinosaur, and the one speaking Japanese is a female humanoid with blinking lashes. From the front desk to the porter that is an automated trolley taking luggage to the room, this hotel in south-western Japan, aptly called Weird Hotel, is “manned” almost totally by robots to save labour costs. A giant robotic arm, usually seen in manufacturing, sits in glass quarters in the lobby. It lifts one of the boxes stacked into the wall and puts it through space in the glass, where a guest can place an item in it, to use as a locker. Some have expressed concerns about what would happen in an emergency, but the hotel has reassured prospective guests that human hotel staff are on duty 24-7. Rooms start at around 8500 yen ($93) per night and the hotel also has an unusual bidding feature where guests can bid for rooms on-line. The hotel is located at the Huis Ten Bosch amusement park — an "eco-friendly future city" which mimics the Netherlands by displaying real-size copies of old Dutch buildings. Thank you for reading.
